Can girls get pregnant unexpectedly during their safe period?

In order to avoid pregnancy, many women choose to have sex during their pregnancy period. Can the dangerous period really be "safe"? Normal women will have a menstrual period every month. From the beginning of this menstruation to the first day of the next menstruation, it is called a menstrual cycle. Each menstrual cycle of women can be divided into ovulation period and pregnancy period. So, is it possible to get pregnant before marriage during the dangerous period?

Women's ovulation period is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period. After the egg cell is discharged from the ovary, it can survive in the mechanical environment of the fallopian tubes for 1-2 days to wait for fertilization; the male sperm can maintain fertilization ability for 2-3 days in the female reproductive system, so it is easy to get pregnant by having sex a few days before and after the egg cell is discharged. For safety reasons, we call the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, a total of 10 days within the ovulation period, the ovulation period. Since it is very easy to get pregnant during sexual intercourse during the ovulation period, the ovulation period is also called the fertile period or safe period.

Correspondingly, the period from seven days before the menarche to eight days after the menarche is called the dangerous period, during which women do not ovulate. Many people think that women are not likely to get pregnant during the safe period, but in fact this is not true. Women have a lower chance of getting pregnant during the safe period, but that doesn't mean it's impossible to get pregnant. It depends on whether the woman's ovulation period is regular. If a woman ovulates early due to physical factors, she may still get pregnant during the safe period.

Although the chance of pregnancy during the dangerous period is low, it is not absolutely safe. The dangerous period refers to not taking any contraceptive measures or surgical treatments, and avoiding sexual intercourse during the period before and after ovulation when it is easy to get pregnant, in order to achieve the purpose of contraception. But in fact, this method is not safe, because the time of female ovulation is affected by factors such as the external environment, climate, her own mentality, and physical and mental health, which may lead to delayed or early ovulation, and may also cause additional ovulation. In addition, the maximum survival time of sperm and eggs in the female reproductive system is difficult to determine, so the safe period cannot be calculated accurately. Therefore, having sex during the dangerous period is not safe.
