Ovarian ectopic pregnancy surgery

Ovarian ectopic pregnancy surgery

The uterus and ovaries are very important for women's fertility. During pregnancy, some women will experience ectopic pregnancy, which has a great impact on their physical and mental health. They need to go to the hospital immediately for surgical treatment of ectopic pregnancy. So, do they need to remove the uterus and ovaries in case of ectopic pregnancy?

Should I remove the uterus and ovaries for an ectopic pregnancy?

If the examination finds no ruptured bilateral tubal ectopic pregnancy, the gestational sac diameter is less than 5 cm, B-HCG is less than 1000u, the intra-abdominal fluid is less than 100ml, and the patient has no heart, kidney, liver or blood abnormalities, then surgery can be temporarily avoided and conservative treatment can be performed.

Ectopic pregnancy is divided into primary growth, miscarriage, migration growth and rupture according to pathology. If the original growth type cannot be treated in time, it will turn into a dehiscence type or a miscarriage type. After the misdiagnosis of the miscarriage type, some of them will turn into a mobile growth type with abdominal implantation. If the mobile growth type is not properly treated, it will turn into a dehiscence type. Among them, the rupture type is the most dangerous. Misdiagnosis or improper treatment can seriously endanger life due to ruptured blood vessels, accounting for the first place in deaths from pregnancy diseases.

Ectopic pregnancy of the uterus and ovary can be divided into four types, among which the rupture type is the most dangerous. Misdiagnosis or failure to promptly treat the condition can seriously endanger life due to ruptured capillaries, which is the leading cause of death during pregnancy. Therefore, prompt diagnosis and effective treatment seem particularly critical.

The symptoms of ectopic pregnancy of the uterus and ovary are amenorrhea and abdominal pain. Ectopic pregnancy is not easy to diagnose, and uterine and ovarian ectopic pregnancy is even more difficult to diagnose. Sometimes it is misdiagnosed as bilateral fallopian tube ectopic pregnancy. The rupture of uterine and ovarian ectopic pregnancy poses a risk to life. Methods for diagnosing ectopic pregnancy: sexual history, positive urine pregnancy test (or excessive blood HCG), intravaginal four-dimensional color ultrasound did not find a gestational sac in the uterine cavity, and high suspicion. If there is still no gestational sac in the uterine cavity after one week, it can be diagnosed.

How to prevent ectopic pregnancy in uterus and ovary

1. Pregnancy and appropriate contraceptive measures: Choose a time when both parties are in good mood and health to get pregnant. If you are not considering becoming a mother yet, you need to take good contraceptive measures. Good contraceptive measures can prevent ectopic pregnancy from happening in the first place.

2. Treat urinary system diseases promptly: Inflammation is the main culprit that causes fallopian tube stenosis. Intrauterine operations such as abortion also increase the probability of inflammation and uterine wall entering the fallopian tubes on both sides, causing the fallopian tubes to become adhered and narrowed, increasing the possibility of ectopic pregnancy. Uterine fibroids, endometriosis and other urinary system diseases may also change the shape and function of the fallopian tubes. Timely treatment of these symptoms can reduce the occurrence of ectopic pregnancy.

3. Try "test tube pregnancy": If you have experienced an ectopic pregnancy before, the possibility of another ectopic pregnancy can destroy a woman's confidence in being a mother. The temptation of a cute baby is certainly worth a woman taking risks, but science also provides women with more help, such as the option of test tube pregnancy. After the sperm and egg are successfully "married" outside the body, the sperm and egg combination can be sent back to the pregnant mother's uterus for safe creation.

4. Pay attention to hygiene during menstruation, delivery and confinement to avoid urinary tract infection. If the disease has already occurred, go to the hospital immediately for intravenous injection and perform laparotomy immediately.

5. Maintain a good lifestyle and do not smoke or drink. Tobacco tar and ethanol have adverse effects on pregnant women and fetuses.
