Will touching the joint of two people with your hands cause the hymen to rupture?

The hymen is very important for women, as it can effectively protect the female vagina from the invasion of bacteria. When young lovers are engaging in intimate acts, it is inevitable that they will touch the place where they are joined with their hands. Some lovers have not yet engaged in sexual intercourse, and when they touch the place where they are joined with their hands, they worry whether it will cause the woman's hymen to rupture. So let’s talk about whether touching the place where two people are connected with your hands will cause the hymen to rupture.

The hymen will not break if you touch the vulva with your hands. The hymen is a thin membrane with a hole in the center that covers the outer opening of a woman's vagina. It is located at the boundary between the vagina and the vestibule of the vagina. Both sides of the film are pink and moist. The hymen of an adolescent is smaller and thicker. As a girl's body matures, the hymen will gradually become larger, thinner, and more resilient. Suggestions: The hymen of an adult woman is about 1 to 2 mm thick and contains connective tissue, microvessels and nerve endings. Squat down and put a mirror on the ground to look at yourself.

The role of the hymen

Before puberty, women's reproductive organs are not yet fully developed, the vaginal mucosa is weaker and the acidity is lower, so it cannot prevent the invasion of bacteria. The hymen is thicker at this time, so it takes on this important task and plays a role in protecting the female reproductive system.

After puberty, women's reproductive organs gradually develop and the vagina has the function of resisting bacterial invasion, but the hymen gradually becomes weak and loses this function. Therefore, for mature women, the hymen no longer has any physiological function.

How to protect the hymen

The hymen can prevent external unclean things from entering the vagina and has the function of protecting the vagina. Before puberty, the ovaries secrete very little estrogen, and the vaginal mucosa is thin, with few wrinkles and low acidity, so the resistance is poor. The hymen has a protective function to block bacteria from invading the vagina. After puberty, with the development of the ovaries, the estrogen in the body increases, the vaginal resistance is strengthened, and the hymen gradually loses its function. The hole in the hymen is a physiological necessity. After a woman matures, the menstrual blood is discharged from the body once a month through this small hole. If there is no small hole in the membrane, the menstrual blood will be blocked by it and cannot be discharged from the body. This is medically called hymen occlusion. If not discovered in time, menstrual blood accumulates in the vagina, and after years and months, it can expand upward to the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes, flow into the abdominal cavity through the distal opening of the fallopian tubes, causing damage to the fallopian tubes, intestinal adhesions, and abdominal infection.
