Will mild inflammation of tct cause mycoplasma and chlamydia?

Many people do not really understand what mycoplasma and chlamydia infections are. In fact, these two types of bacteria are microorganisms. These bacteria are not normal ecological bacteria, but pathological bacteria. If these bacteria invade our bodies, they will cause inflammation problems.

Introduction

Mycoplasma is a prokaryotic microorganism discovered by Nocard et al. in 1898 that is similar to bacteria but does not have a cell wall. It can grow and reproduce on inanimate artificial culture media. It has a diameter of 50-300nm and can pass through bacterial filters. It was previously called pleuropneumonia-like organism (PPLO) and was officially named Mycoplasma in 1967.

Mycoplasma: also known as mold, is the smallest and simplest prokaryotic organism discovered so far. The number of genes is 480. The only visible organelle in mycoplasma cells is the ribosome (mycoplasma are prokaryotic cells, and the only organelle in prokaryotic cells is the ribosome).

The structure is also relatively simple, most of them are spherical, without cell walls, only a three-layer cell membrane, so it has greater variability. The genome of mycoplasma is mostly double-stranded DNA, which is scattered throughout the cell without forming a nuclear region or nucleoid. The cell contains DNA, RNA and a variety of proteins, including hundreds of enzymes. Mycoplasma can be inoculated and grown on special culture media, and this method can be used in conjunction with clinical diagnosis. The two main bacteria associated with urogenital tract infections are ureaplasma and mycoplasma hominis. About 20-30% of patients with non-gonococcal urethritis are caused by these two mycoplasmas, which are the second most common pathogens of non-gonococcal urethritis and cervicitis. The infection rate of Ureaplasma urealyticum and Mycoplasma hominis in the urogenital tract of adults is mainly related to sexual activity, that is, the number of sexual intercourses and the number of sexual partners, regardless of sex. According to statistics, the mycoplasma infection rate in women is higher, which means that mycoplasma is more likely to grow in the female reproductive tract than in the male reproductive tract. In addition, the infection rate of ureaplasma urealyticum is higher than that of Mycoplasma hominis.

Morphology and structure

The size of mycoplasma is 0.1~0.3um, which can pass through the filter and often cause contamination trouble in cell culture work. The colonies are small (0.1~1.0mm in diameter) and appear in a unique "fried egg" shape on the surface of the solid culture medium. No cell wall, no

It maintains a fixed morphology but is polymorphic, is sensitive to osmotic pressure, and is insensitive to antibiotics that inhibit cell wall synthesis. Gram staining is not easy to stain, so Giemsa staining is often used to dye it light purple. The cell membrane contains a large amount of cholesterol, accounting for about 36%, which plays a certain role in maintaining the integrity of the cell membrane. The cell membrane contains sterols and is tougher than the membranes of other prokaryotes. Any substance that can act on cholesterol (such as amphotericin B, saponin, etc.) can cause damage to the mycoplasma membrane and cause the death of the mycoplasma.

The mycoplasma genome is a circular double-stranded DNA with a small molecular weight (only one-fifth of that of Escherichia coli) and very limited synthesis and metabolism.

One end of Mycoplasma pneumoniae has a special terminal structure that enables the mycoplasma to adhere to the surface of respiratory mucosal epithelial cells and is related to pathogenicity.
