Women’s monthly menstruation is actually a way for them to expel dirt from their bodies while ensuring metabolism. Although menstruation may bring a lot of trouble, such as abdominal pain, fatigue, etc., some women also feel irritable during menstruation and are always willing to quarrel with others. After giving birth, some women's menstruation has obviously stopped, but there are blood streaks in their leucorrhea. Why is this? Blood in leucorrhea after menstruation is usually caused by physiological or disease factors. Bloody leucorrhea after physiological menstruation refers to ovulation bleeding. If the amount of blood is not much and the bleeding lasts for 3-7 days and stops on its own, it is a normal symptom. Pathological leucorrhea with blood after menstruation is mostly caused by diseases such as vaginitis, cervical polyps, cervical tumors, etc. In addition, sometimes due to the placement of an intrauterine contraceptive ring, there may be some blood mixed in the leucorrhea. However, it can improve after anti-inflammatory treatment, and most of the cases are sporadic. A very small number of hypertensive patients may occasionally have bloody vaginal discharge due to vascular sclerosis and rupture. Bleeding after menstruation Bleeding during intercourse after menstruation is a type of contact bleeding, which may be caused by the following situations: 1. Gynecological diseases cause bleeding Bleeding during intercourse after menstruation is often related to gynecological diseases such as vaginitis, cervical erosion, cervical polyps, early cervical cancer, and submucosal fibroids. Women with these gynecological diseases need to be vigilant and seek medical attention as soon as possible if they experience bleeding after sexual intercourse. 2. Unclear menstrual blood After the menstruation is over, there are still broken blood vessels and glandular ducts on the surface of the unrepaired uterine cavity, and the tiny blood vessels will still bleed. Having sex too early can stimulate the uterus and aggravate bleeding symptoms. It is not advisable to have sex during menstruation or right after menstruation to avoid uterine infection and gynecological diseases. 3. Ovulation bleeding Women will enter the ovulation period a few days after menstruation, and ovulation bleeding is generally a physiological phenomenon. During ovulation, due to a temporary drop in estrogen levels, the endometrium loses hormonal support and some endometrial tissue is shed, causing regular vaginal bleeding. This type of bleeding is not heavy and usually lasts for half a day or 2-3 days, and no more than 7 days at most. It may be accompanied by slight back pain. |
