What to do if you have pubic pain during pregnancy

Pregnancy is a very difficult thing for women, because not only do they have to pay attention to their diet, but there are also many abnormal conditions in their bodies. Some pregnant women who sit for a long time without regular exercise are prone to symptoms of edema and pubic pain. If the pubic pain has a great impact on the pregnant woman's ability to move, what should you do if you have pubic pain during pregnancy?

1. What to do if you have pubic pain during pregnancy

When your belly is not too big, take a walk every day. I found that it hurt more when I was sitting than when I was walking. So I would walk on the road every day to relax my body, and the pain would obviously be better as I walked slowly. The prerequisite is to walk slowly and not walk for a long time.

Secondly, the pain becomes more intense in the late stages of pregnancy, and turning over in sleep at night is a torture. Later I bought a pregnancy pillow. I used one to support my stomach when I slept on my left side, and placed the other next to my feet. Resting my feet on them relieved pubic pain on the one hand and calf cramps on the other. Expectant mothers can try it.

Finally, massage more often every day. Every night before going to bed, I massage the painful area. I gently massage it back and forth with my fingers, and I also ask my husband to help, which can relieve the pain to a certain extent.

2. How to relieve pubic pain

1. Be careful not to stand for too long and take breaks.

2. To relieve the pressure of the abdomen on the pubic bone, use a shoulder-type belly support belt for pregnant women.

3. To prevent further separation of the pubic bone, a double diamond pelvic belt can be used appropriately.

Symptoms of symphysis pubis pain

The common term for pubic symphysis pain is actually pain in the hip area. This discomfort may extend to the lower back, pelvis, perineum, thighs or calves. Relaxation of the pubic symphysis ligament will cause pregnant women to be unstable and stagger when walking. The degree of pain varies from person to person. Some pregnant women may feel so much pain that even walking is very difficult, but some pregnant women only experience slight discomfort. This symptom usually continues after delivery because, during delivery, the pelvis must expand to a width that allows the fetus to pass through the birth canal smoothly, causing the pubic symphysis ligament to be subjected to maximum tension.
