Electrocautery for cervical erosion?

Electrocautery for cervical erosion?

Cervical erosion is a very common cervical disease. Cervical erosion is very harmful to women's health. It not only affects women's daily life, but also affects their work. Especially if you suffer from cervical erosion, it will cause bleeding during sexual intercourse. Therefore, cervical erosion must be treated in time to avoid worsening of the disease and difficulties in treatment.

Is electrocautery effective in treating cervical erosion?

Electrocautery is effective in treating cervical erosion. It is actually a cervical circumcision, so it is used for patients with severe cervical erosion. The high-frequency electric waves generated by the tip of the electrode, after contacting the body, absorb the high-frequency electric waves due to the impedance of the tissue itself and instantly generate high heat to complete the treatment of cervical erosion. The advantage is that very fine surgical effects can be achieved. It will not cause tissue pulling or carbonization and will cause little damage to surrounding tissues.

Electrocautery treatment of cervical erosion may cause discomfort, but because anesthesia will be administered during the operation, there will be no pain, but there may be slight discomfort. The operation time is short, averaging 3-5 minutes. Less pain and less chance of scarring.

In fact, as long as cervical erosion is treated properly, the possibility of recurrence is small.

It is a common gynecological disease in women. If it is not treated well, it will often recur. Surgery, microwave, and red light treatments are quick to take effect, but they have great side effects on the body. If the depth of treatment is not properly controlled and the inflammation of the deep cervical tissue is not eliminated, the erosion surface may only be temporarily cured, but the root cause is not eliminated. If you also suffer from vaginitis, have an artificial abortion, etc., which causes the cervical tissue to be infected by pathogenic bacteria again, there is still a possibility of recurrence and it cannot be cured.

Physical therapy for cervical erosion

1. Laser treatment: Carbon dioxide laser is usually used to emit a light beam to the eroded surface, causing the eroded tissue to carbonize and form a scab. New squamous epithelium can grow after the scab falls off. Laser therapy has the effects of anti-inflammatory, analgesic and promoting tissue repair. During the treatment, the laser knife does not touch the cervical tissue, so the depth of burning is easy to control. Generally, it can be cured in one time.

2. Cryotherapy: Use a special rapid freezing device to freeze, necrotize and fall off the diseased tissue on the cervical erosion surface. The commonly used refrigerant is liquid nitrogen, which can reduce the temperature of the cryostat to minus 196 degrees Celsius. It is placed on the surface of the cervix to freeze the eroded tissue, causing it to necrotize and fall off, and then new epithelial tissue will grow. Cryosurgery does not form scars, so cervical stenosis generally does not occur, and is more suitable for women who want to have children. In addition, freezing can cause local blood vessels to contract and stop bleeding, so patients rarely bleed after treatment. It can be cured in 1 time.

3. Microwave therapy: Use microwaves to generate thermal effects to promote the coagulation of proteins around the cervical tissue, achieving the effects of burning, coagulation and hemostasis, anti-inflammation, sterilization and wound healing. When using microwave treatment, the doctor has a clear field of vision and the operation is simple. Generally, there is no pain during the operation, there is little bleeding, the depth of the treatment area is even, and the wound cells repair quickly after surgery.
