Laser sequelae of cervical erosion

Laser sequelae of cervical erosion

According to incomplete statistics, the probability of women suffering from various gynecological diseases is gradually increasing. When people first learn that they are ill, most of them will try any possible treatment. Moreover, if they encounter an illegal doctor, the best time for treatment will be delayed. Recently, there has been a lot of discussion about a laser treatment for cervical erosion. So is it good or bad?

Please do not worry too much about uterine erosion. This disease is very common, but some hospitals treat it as if it were cervical cancer, prescribing large amounts of Chinese and Western medicines and some useless physical therapies to patients, which will not play a fundamental therapeutic role and are also inappropriate. This puts too much psychological burden on patients and they blindly seek medical treatment.

In fact, don’t worry too much, many female friends who have sex have this kind of disease. Laser therapy was first developed in the United States. Due to its outstanding advantages, it was soon widely used. However, it was soon discovered that lasers could affect vision, so the United States stopped using laser therapy.

When you know that you have uterine erosion, you need to go to the hospital in time for a cancer prevention examination or TCT or cervical scraping to rule out any abnormal lesions. If there is a problem, further biopsy is needed. If there is no problem, choose treatment directly. Of course, one thing that needs to be explained here is that if there is no conscious discomfort such as contact bleeding, waist discomfort, excessive secretions and vaginitis is prone to recurrence, these accompanying symptoms are generally not considered to require treatment. If you have any of these symptoms and they are quite obvious, it is recommended to get treatment first. Our hospital provides microwave treatment (one to two treatments may be enough) and trichloroacetic acid (two to three treatments may be enough). The specific treatment plan is based on the size and degree of the erosion. These are all performed by the responsible doctor. Generally, you should come back to the hospital for a follow-up examination two months after the treatment. During this period, you should not have sex and should pay attention to hygiene. This treatment will not affect future fertility, and the effect is ideal and it is relatively affordable. After treatment, you only need to do routine gynecological examinations, leucorrhea examinations and cancer prevention examinations every year. Let me tell you that the examinations that women who have sex need to do every year are as follows: vaginal B-ultrasound, routine gynecological examination of leucorrhea, cervical scraping or TCT (more accurate than scraping). Just choose one of the two.
