What to do if a pregnant woman is bitten by mites

Mites are invisible to the naked eye, but they are everywhere. Long-term contact with mites can easily cause skin diseases, such as mite dermatitis. To get rid of mites, you must keep the room clean, maintain good environmental hygiene, do not leave clutter around, pay attention to ventilation and drying, take personal protection measures, wash clothes frequently, etc. When there is sunshine, put bedding and clothes in the sun. Doing this frequently can reduce the presence of mites.

After two days of hard research, I found several prescriptions on the Internet that said pregnant women can also use Chinese medicine (half a catty of moxa leaves, 2 taels of cnidium monnieri, 2 taels of phellodendron, 2 taels of wild chrysanthemum, half a catty of honeysuckle, and 2 taels of radix stemonae). They are all sold on Taobao or in Chinese medicine stores. I bought more than a catty for more than 30 yuan: boiled into a concentrated juice, washed twice a day (shower first, dry and then wash with warm medicine, scalding will damage skin cells and make it more susceptible to infection. After washing, let it dry naturally, do not wash it again, and finally wipe the genitals with a cotton swab. I am very sorry that the lotion was recommended by others. But it is thicker than the one I boiled myself. It feels very cool when applied. I bought a large bottle of two-in-one for 29 yuan. It does not say that pregnant women are prohibited, but some lotions have it, so you may have to be careful about its ingredients.

I use a stainless steel basin to boil water to scald the sheets and pillowcases every day and expose them to the sun. After washing for two days, the itching is gone. Apply it temporarily wherever you feel uncomfortable. I guess it should be fine if you wash it for a week at most. It's just a small bug and can't withstand our torture.

Mites are invisible parasites that live in the environment we live in. The skin, bedding, and clothing are all places where mites live. If mites parasitize on our skin, various skin problems will occur over time. In addition, the hormones during pregnancy stimulate the secretion of sebaceous glands, making pregnant women an ideal host for mites.

Pregnant women who are infected with mites and have allergic reactions can use rhubarb and gallnut lotion for external washing. Or using sulfur powder, sulfur soap, metronidazole, etc. can relieve the discomfort symptoms after being bitten by mites, but sulfur will inhibit normal sebum secretion and make the skin dry, so it should not be used frequently.

In daily life, pregnant women should stay away from sources of infection such as cats and dogs. Open windows to ventilate the room and take out bedding to dry frequently so that the ultraviolet rays in the sun can kill mites. Since the reproduction cycle of mites is very short, it is best to do a thorough cleaning once a week. In addition, personal hygiene should be maintained, and frequent bathing and changing of clothes and a clean environment are the necessary means to fundamentally cut off the reproduction of mites.
