Causes of dysmenorrhea in unmarried women

Many women suffer a lot when their menstruation comes, because every time they have their menstruation, their abdomen will feel as if it is being stabbed by a knife, and it often takes a long time to recover, which is what we often call dysmenorrhea. Many women have reported that when they suffer from dysmenorrhea, even taking drugs to suppress it rarely works, and they can only bear it on their own. So, what is the cause of dysmenorrhea in unmarried women?

1. Causes of dysmenorrhea

1. Abnormal position of the uterus. Abnormal uterine position refers to the extreme retroflexion or anterior flexion of the uterus, which has a great impact on the smooth flow of menstrual blood and leads to dysmenorrhea in women.

2. Endocrine disorders. If the progesterone level in a woman's body gradually increases during the luteal phase, it will lead to endocrine disorders in women, and then cause abdominal pain during menstruation.

3. It is related to the existence of contraceptive tools. If there are contraceptive tools in the body, especially the placement of intrauterine contraceptive devices, it will often aggravate the degree of dysmenorrhea and have a certain impact on women's daily life.

4. Cervical stenosis. If a woman's cervical canal is narrow, it will cause obstruction of menstrual outflow, leading to dysmenorrhea.

5. Excessive fatigue and tension. Most women will experience dysmenorrhea due to excessive fatigue, or because of excessive tension, which can also cause dysmenorrhea.

6. Uterine hypoplasia. If a woman's uterus is not well developed, it will easily accumulate blood, leading to abnormal blood supply, and ultimately causing uterine ischemia and hypoxia, causing dysmenorrhea.

2. How to relieve dysmenorrhea

1. Adjust your daily routine. In daily life, women should pay attention to their daily rest routine, avoid getting caught in the rain and catching a cold during menstruation, and get enough sleep, etc.

2. Don’t take too many birth control pills. Excessive use of birth control pills can cause endocrine disorders in women, thus affecting menstruation. Taking too many birth control pills is also one of the reasons for delayed menstruation.

3. Don’t smoke or drink. According to clinical data, 30% of women suffer from menstrual disorders due to smoking and drinking. Therefore, women should never smoke or drink.

4. Psychological factors. As the pressure of life and work increases, women's long-term mental stress will increase, causing endocrine disorders in women and affecting menstruation. Therefore, female friends should learn to regulate their mood and put themselves in a relaxed state.

5. Don’t lose weight or diet blindly. Since dieting and weight loss will cause a large amount of fat and protein to be consumed, it will affect menstruation and may even lead to scanty menstruation or amenorrhea, and may also cause dysmenorrhea.
