Yellow leucorrhea with crusting

If the leucorrhea is yellow and scabs appear, it is because the amount of leucorrhea increases and it gets on the underwear, and it will form scabs after drying. It depends on whether there is an inflammatory disease and whether there is an odor in the leucorrhea. It cannot be ruled out that it is caused by candidal vaginitis or nonspecific vaginitis. It is critical to treat it after finding out the cause.

1. Trichomonas vaginitis

The Trichomonas of Trichomonas vaginitis exist in the glands of the wrinkles and cervix, as well as in the urethra and intestines, so it should be treated both internally and externally.

(1) Oral use of anti-trichomonal drugs, such as metronidazole, 200 mg each time, 3 times a day for 7 days. After taking the medicine, test for Trichomonas. If the result is negative, the patient should continue treatment for one course after the next menstruation to consolidate the therapeutic effect.

(2) Local treatment at the same time, such as flushing the vagina with 0.5%~1% lactic acid or acetic acid solution or 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution or using Oqins, once a day.

To treat candidal vaginitis, you can use 2% to 3% soda solution to rinse the vulva, vagina or take a sitz bath. After gently drying, place 250,000 units of nystatin suppository deep in the vagina, or apply nystatin cream to the vaginal wall, once a night or once in the morning and evening for a total of 10 to 14 days. For example: Shuyin Qumei Powder, a pure Chinese medicine preparation, is used by first pouring the powder into a wooden basin, then pouring in an appropriate amount of boiling water, and steaming it while it is hot so that the medicinal power can penetrate directly into the vagina. Wait until the medicine becomes warm before applying it to the affected area. Fumigation should be done once in the morning and once in the evening.

3. Nonspecific vaginitis

The drug of choice is metronidazole, 500 mg orally twice a day for 7 days. It can also be applied topically, 200 mg each time, inserted into the vagina, with 7 days as a course of treatment. Clindamycin 300 mg, orally, twice a day for 7 days; or 2% clindamycin ointment, vaginally, once a night for 7 days.

To treat senile vaginitis, local medication can be applied in the vagina, and the vagina can be flushed with a Ph4 weak acid formula female care solution once a day to increase vaginal acidity. For patients with more severe inflammation, estrogen therapy is used as an adjunct. 0.125~0.25 mg of diethylstilbestrol is inserted into the vagina once every night, and one course of treatment is 7 days.
