How to deal with spotting during pregnancy

We all know that men and women are not allowed to have sex during pregnancy, because having sex may cause miscarriage in women, but there are always some men and women who can't help themselves, especially in the first three months of pregnancy, because the fetus is the most unstable in the mother at this time. After three months, slight sexual intercourse is allowed, but there are always times when spotting occurs during sexual intercourse. So what are the ways to deal with spotting during pregnancy?

What should I do if I see blood during sex during pregnancy?

1.

During pregnancy, normally there should be no vaginal bleeding. However, if vaginal bleeding caused by sexual intercourse is not heavy, it is a sign of threatened miscarriage. Threatened miscarriage can be treated through active pregnancy preservation.

2.

After pregnancy, due to the effect of sex hormones, the blood flow to the reproductive organs of pregnant women is more abundant, the blood vessels are congested and enlarged, and they are prone to injury and bleeding. During pregnancy, the uterus and the abdominal cavity itself will be in a state of congestion and appear very fragile. Sometimes even the slightest stimulation or slight movement can cause bleeding.

3.

If a woman bleeds after having sex, if the amount of bleeding is relatively small and it is not very painful, she should pay attention to hygiene and then observe for a few days. Generally, there is no big problem. If the expectant mother is still worried, she can go to the hospital for a check-up. However, if the amount of bleeding has not decreased and the pain has significantly increased, it is best to go to the hospital for examination and pregnancy preservation in time.

4.

Bleeding during intercourse may be a serious acute abdominal condition: ectopic pregnancy. If you find bleeding during intercourse in the early stages of pregnancy and it is accompanied by abdominal pain, you should consider the possibility of ectopic pregnancy. If it is an ectopic pregnancy, you must go to the hospital in time. A diagnosis can be made through B-ultrasound examination, and then appropriate treatment measures can be taken.

Things to note when having sex during pregnancy

1.

During the first three months of pregnancy, the pregnant woman's endocrine function changes and the embryo is in the development stage. In particular, the connection between the placenta and the mother's uterine wall is not tight enough at this time. If sexual intercourse is performed, it is very likely that improper movements or excessive excitement will vibrate the uterus, causing the placenta to fall off and bleed, resulting in miscarriage. Even if you are very careful during sexual intercourse, miscarriage can easily occur due to pelvic congestion and uterine contraction. It is generally not recommended to have sexual intercourse during this period.

2.

By the middle of pregnancy, the baby's key organs are almost developed, so you can have sex appropriately. Pay attention to the details when having sex. Both husband and wife should clean their private parts, especially the expectant father, to prevent his bacteria from entering the expectant mother's body. The expectant father should never put his hands into the expectant mother's vagina as there are a lot of bacteria on his hands.

3.

Try to avoid having sex in the late stages of pregnancy, because having sex in the late stages can easily cause the expectant mother to have a premature birth. Premature babies are born before the full term and may not develop as fully as full-term babies and may need to be put in an incubator or something. For the health of the baby, expectant parents please be patient.

4.

The duration and intensity of sexual intercourse during pregnancy should be appropriate, the movements should be gentle, excessive stimulation should be avoided, and the duration should be shortened accordingly (1-3 minutes). Use different ways of touching, such as caressing your wife's belly and experiencing the joy of fetal movement together. Try not to put your weight on your wife's abdomen and breasts. Use pillows as much as possible to make your wife comfortable, and try to stay perpendicular to her body curves.
