Is a woman's heart on the left or right?

Ordinary people cannot tell the difference between men and women, and their hearts are located to the left of the center of the heart. The heart is like an inverted triangular pyramid, located in the chest cavity, surrounded by the lungs, with the tip of the pyramid (atrium) leaning to the left. A normal heart is about the size of a fist, with 1/3 on the right side and 2/3 on the left side. There are several situations in which the heart is located on the right side of the chest cavity and exceeds the left side of the chest cavity: 1. Dextrocardia. The probability of occurrence is approximately 2/10000. This group of people is called mirror people, because generally their hearts and other internal organs are transposed, just like the mirror system in the mirror of ordinary people.

2. Right-handed heart. This type of person only has simple heart transposition, with the atrium leaning to the right. It is usually combined with aortic malformation, atrioventricular septal defect, etc. Also called latent dextrocardia. 3. The heart is compressed or stretched due to lung disease or surgical treatment, causing it to move to the right.

Let me give you two examples. In "Palace 2", Huaying was resurrected because her heart was on the right side. In "I Am a Special Forces Soldier", the team leader also had a right heart and escaped. So is it true that the heart is on the right side?

Method/Process

1

A normal heart is located to the left of the center line of the shoulder blade. In layman's terms, most of the heart is on the left side of the chest cavity, and a small part of the heart is on the right side of the chest cavity (two-thirds on the left and one-third on the right).

However, some people's hearts are on the right side (most of them are on the right side). This is not a disease, but a normal genetic mutation. According to the condition of the pulmonary artery and great blood vessels, it can be divided into dextrocardia and diastolic dextrocardia (all organs are reversed). As long as there are no clinical symptoms, it is normal.

2

In other words, if the heart is mostly on the right side and the wound is close to the left side, it is theoretically possible to survive.

3

So what are the disadvantages of having the heart on the right side?

Please rest assured, although people with right-sided hearts have the possibility of cardiovascular disease, if you go to a regular hospital for a checkup and your test results show no warning signs, it means you have no other abnormalities, and you are just like an ordinary person. It will not affect your work, daily life, or life expectancy, so you don't need to worry.

4

In addition, the probability of this kind of heart moving to the right is still very high. Don't worry that you are a lonely patient, there are many people standing with you.
