What is the difference between ovulation pain and implantation pain?

The issue that women are most concerned about is pregnancy, because it is the basic process for women to create offspring. However, due to the great decline in women's physical fitness, many genital pain problems have occurred, which has a great impact on women's lives. Ovulation and implantation are the prerequisites for successful reproduction. Let’s take a look at the differences between ovulation pain and implantation pain. I hope everyone can understand.

Generally speaking, implantation can occur within about a week after fertilization. However, the symptoms after implantation vary from person to person. Some people feel it more obviously and can perceive it clearly, while others can hardly feel it.

If the couple has been actively preparing for pregnancy and have calculated their ovulation period, then usually the fertilized egg will implant in about a week after having sex during the woman's ovulation period. A week later, a blood test at a regular hospital or medical institution will reveal the fertilized egg. It usually takes a week to transfer from the fallopian tube to the uterine cavity. At that time, the body will feel tired and sleepy, and have a pain in the lower abdomen, which occurs about two to three times a day.

1. Different pain durations:

Implantation pain will start a few days after ovulation and will occur every day. The time is not fixed, sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon, and it will not last too long, usually just a few minutes, and the frequency of pain may be several times a day.

Premenstrual pain usually starts a few days before menstruation and continues until menstruation arrives, with a constant dull pain every day.

2. The location of pain is different:

The pain of implantation pain is usually located in the left or right lower abdomen, and sometimes the middle and lower abdomen will also hurt, and it will be concentrated in one part or one point.

Premenstrual pain means pain in the entire lower abdomen. Some girls feel especially pain the day before their period. For me, I started to feel a dull pain a few days before my period.

The symptoms of successful implantation after ovulation vary according to different periods. Usually in the early stages of pregnancy, the symptoms will continue to increase with time. It is generally difficult to have obvious symptoms in the early stages of implantation. Gradually, there may be changes in diet, from loss of appetite at the beginning to picky eating, having favorite foods, and so on.
