Latest healing time of uterine incision

With the development of science, women's pregnancy and childbirth are no longer limited to natural birth, and more and more women will choose caesarean section. Caesarean section is relatively safe. It will cause uterine incision. You must pay attention to care after caesarean section to avoid infection. The epidermal wound of the uterine incision caused by cesarean section will generally heal in about a week, and it will take about a month to fully recover. After a caesarean section, you should pay attention to rest and avoid excessive exercise.

If the uterine incision after cesarean section is properly cared for and no inflammation occurs, the stitches on the epidermal wound can be removed or the skin clips can be removed 5-7 days after the operation, and there will be no obvious pain in about 10 days. However, it takes about 4-6 weeks for the uterine incision to fully recover.

Caesarean section precautions:

1. Early getting out of bed and moving around is an important measure to promote wound healing, uterine contraction, and prevent intestinal adhesion. Therefore, in order to prevent intestinal adhesion and thrombosis, the mother should engage in physical activities after regaining consciousness. She should get out of bed and walk around no matter what after 24 hours. Activities will also help the wound recover sooner.

2. After a caesarean section, the mother must not eat fish and ginseng. After giving birth, the mother's body will be relatively weak, so nutritional intake is essential. However, for mothers who have undergone caesarean section, they should not eat foods that produce a lot of gas before the abdomen is bloated and the gas is discharged. They can first eat some easily digestible foods, such as egg soup, noodle soup, etc.

Caesarean section incision recovery taboos:

1. Do not overeat. The normal gastrointestinal function may be suppressed due to the cesarean section, and intestinal motility will be relatively slowed down. Once too much food is consumed at this time, food may stay in the intestine for too long, which will not only cause constipation, but may also cause increased abdominal pressure, which is not conducive to recovery.

2. It is not advisable to lie flat. After cesarean section, sleeping flat on your back will affect uterine contraction, so it is best to choose a side-lying position. To reduce the pulling pain and vibration of the incision caused by body movement, you can place a blanket or pillow behind your back.

3. It is not advisable to lie still. 24 hours after the operation, the mother should endure the pain and get up from the bed and move slowly, because this will not only help to expel gas as soon as possible, but also prevent intestinal adhesion and thrombosis.
