Things to note before pediatric surgery

Women have the important mission of childbearing and raising children. Women also suffer from diseases because of these two missions. Women's breasts are used to feed their children, so they are very prone to mastitis and breast hyperplasia. Women's uterus is very prone to diseases such as uterine fibroids, cervicitis, vaginitis, and fallopian tube obstruction. Women with blocked fallopian tubes can have their fallopian tubes cleared, but there are many things to pay attention to when clearing the fallopian tubes.

1. Fallopian tube hydrotubation should be performed within 3-7 days after the menstruation ends. If it is done too early, the endometrium has not been completely repaired or there is residual menstrual blood, and the water perfusion operation may easily damage the endometrium or inject menstrual blood into the abdominal cavity, causing infection.

2. Before doing fallopian tube hydrotubation, you must check for gynecological inflammation, such as vaginitis, cervicitis, etc. It is best to do this test a few months after the inflammation has healed.

3. Strict disinfection and various preparations must be made before the fallopian tube hydrotubation operation to avoid possible unexpected situations during the operation.

4. Since tubal spasm may occur during hydrotubation, some anti-spasm drugs can be used routinely before the examination.

5. Pay close observation after fallopian tube insufflation, follow up on time, and observe the postoperative recovery.

6. Do not take a bath within two weeks after the fallopian tube hydrotubation operation. You can take a shower, but pay attention to the hygiene of the genitals and keep them clean and dry.

7. Sexual intercourse is prohibited within two weeks after fallopian tube hydrotubation.

8. There are generally no special requirements for diet after fallopian tube hydrotubation. Just try to keep your nutrition healthy.

9. Do not perform repeated hydrotubation tests. Repeated tubal hydrotubation may make tubal obstruction more severe. Because fallopian tube obstruction is often caused by chronic inflammation.

The fallopian tube is insulated by injecting methylene blue solution or saline into the uterine cavity through the cervix. Then it flows into the fallopian tube from the uterine cavity. The resistance when the medicine is injected and the reflux of the liquid are used to determine whether the fallopian tube is unobstructed. Through a certain pressure of the liquid, the obstructed fallopian tube is restored to patency.

Indications

1. Patients with primary or secondary infertility suspected of having fallopian tube obstruction;

2. After fallopian tube surgery, to check the effect of the surgery;

3. Check and evaluate the effects of various sterilization operations;

4. Restore patency to mildly blocked fallopian tubes.

harm

Hydrotubation is a surgical procedure used to diagnose the patency of the fallopian tubes and treat some minor blockages. Traditional hydrotubation has many hazards, causing trouble to many patients and often misleading doctors' judgment. So, what are the dangers of traditional fallopian tube insufflation? First of all, the misdiagnosis rate is relatively high. After the hydrotubation, it is still impossible to determine the specific location of the blockage and the severity. There is also a high risk of fallopian tube rupture, which brings many difficulties to the treatment and endangers the health of women. And the harms of traditional fallopian tube insufflation are more than that. Because the operation is performed without visual knowledge and the specific internal conditions cannot be seen, many factors cannot be judged, and the help for treatment is very limited. In addition, it also places extremely high demands on the operators. If they are not careful, they may hurt the patient's body and cause great pain.
