What causes chest pain in women?

In daily life, many people experience chest pain due to many reasons. Some people think it is a sign of heart disease and are very anxious, while others think it is nothing and then relax and ignore it. These two attitudes are not good and are of no help in solving problems. What is the cause of chest pain in women? Let's have a simple understanding of this issue. I hope the following points will be helpful to everyone!

Women's chest pain is sometimes caused by menstruation, and sometimes it manifests as chest pain during menstruation. But this is a practical test, and what can't be found? Some people don't exercise regularly, and suddenly do some high-intensity exercise. In other words, they don't usually have any physical activity, and physical activity will manifest as muscle pain in the front of the chest.

There are also some pneumothorax and hemothorax caused by some reasons, which will also mainly manifest as chest pain. Some of them are tuberculosis or tumors, and some patients also show chest pain. In cases like this, the general recommendation is to do a chest CT to confirm it, and then decide how to deal with it based on the test results.

So what causes chest pain? There are many reasons for chest pain, but the most important reasons are the following:

1. Lung inflammation leading to infection: Pneumonia is a common respiratory disease. Once the lung infection causes pneumonia, if it is not treated promptly, chest pain will occur, especially when coughing, the pain is very obvious.

2. Purulent space-occupying lesions: Once the internal organs in the chest cavity are infected or damaged, it is very easy to cause purulent space-occupying lesions. Once the human body develops purulent space-occupying lesions, it is also easy to cause diseases in other tissues inside the chest cavity, thereby causing chest pain.

3. Poor medical care: Some people undergo chest surgery due to illness, but do not pay attention to post-operative medical care, resulting in wound infection. Once the wound is infected, the slightest movement or inhalation will cause chest pain due to the wound problem.

4. Chest trauma: After the chest is traumatized, the chest muscles and soft tissues will be strained. When exercising the chest, chest pain will be caused by these muscles and soft tissues.
