Uterine fibroid puncture

Uterine fibroid puncture

Uterine fibroids, in layman's terms, are small lumps of flesh that grow in the uterus. They are a benign tumor. In the context of fast-paced life, uterine fibroids have become a common gynecological disease among women. While puncture is a common treatment method, is there any puncture for uterine fibroids? What other tests should be done before performing a uterine fibroid puncture?

1First of all, we need to know what uterine fibroids are? To put it simply, uterine fibroids are small fleshy balls that grow inside the uterus. Normally, you won’t feel any discomfort and they will only be discovered during some medical examinations. Therefore, if you are not pregnant, female friends probably won’t care too much about this.

2 Secondly, we need to understand how uterine fibroids are formed? Uterine fibroids are a common condition for many female friends. The cause of each person's disease is different. In modern medicine, it is believed that the cause of uterine fibroids is closely related to the estrogen in the female body. Although the exact cause has not been determined, it may be related to the estrogen stimulation in the female body.

3 Now that we know the symptoms and causes of uterine fibroids , we also need to understand what amniocentesis checks. It turns out that amniocentesis is a test in which the amniotic fluid produced in the uterus of a pregnant woman is extracted under sterile conditions using a simple instrument, and then the condition of the amniotic fluid is checked to understand the development and health of the fetus. After understanding this, we understand that uterine fibroids and amniocentesis do not have any major impact, so amniocentesis can be done even if there are uterine fibroids in the pregnant uterus.

Note:

Pregnant female friends should first inquire about the situation in detail and listen to the doctor's advice on whether amniocentesis is needed. If female friends are determined to undergo amniocentesis, they must remain calm, not be nervous, rest well before the operation, keep warm, and avoid doing overly strenuous exercise.
