Bleeding during pregnancy

Bleeding during pregnancy

Bleeding from the lower body during pregnancy is a relatively dangerous phenomenon. Whether it is in the early or late pregnancy, if bleeding occurs, you must go to the hospital in time to find out the cause and then take appropriate treatment plans. Generally speaking, bleeding during pregnancy may be caused by problems such as hydatidiform mole, placenta previa, premature birth, ectopic pregnancy, etc. These symptoms will threaten the safety of the fetus to a certain extent!

1. Hydatidiform mole

Measures: In early pregnancy, a uterine B-ultrasound should be performed to monitor embryo development and detect hydatidiform mole early. If the early pregnancy reactions are severe, timely checks should be carried out to rule out hydatidiform mole. If there is heavy bleeding, the patient should be rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment. A short-term delay may cause more blood loss and endanger the pregnant mother.

2. Placenta previa

Complete placenta previa will cause bleeding around 28 weeks of pregnancy, and occasionally at 20 weeks. The bleeding is frequent and the amount is large. Sometimes a large amount of bleeding can put the patient into shock. The first bleeding of marginal placenta previa occurs later, and there may even be bleeding during labor, but the amount is less. The bleeding situation of partial placenta previa is somewhere in between.

Measures: Absolute bed rest, and give sedative, hemostatic, and blood-tonifying drugs, such as chlordiazepoxide, vitamin K, ferrous sulfate, etc. After the bleeding stops completely, arrange for light activities on the ground as appropriate. If the pregnant mother experiences dizziness, abdominal pain, uterine contractions, decreased blood pressure or hemoglobin, and fetus. If there are any changes in G, you should contact your doctor in time.

3. Premature birth

In the middle and late stages of pregnancy, vaginal spotting, abdominal distension and pain, membrane rupture, strong contractions of the uterus causing a feeling of falling, and a noticeable hardening of the abdomen are all signs of premature birth.

Measures: If the pregnancy is not full term. If irregular uterine contractions or a small amount of vaginal bleeding occur, the doctor will instruct the pregnant mother to take medication to suppress uterine contractions and maintain the pregnancy as much as possible. female. When uterine contractions become regular and examination reveals that the cervix is dilated, premature birth is inevitable and the doctor will take measures to increase the survival rate of premature babies.

4. Ectopic pregnancy

Symptoms: Bleeding caused by ectopic pregnancy usually occurs around 2 months of pregnancy, accompanied by varying degrees of nausea and abdominal pain. Once tubal pregnancy ruptures, massive intra-abdominal bleeding and severe abdominal pain will occur, which may lead to shock.

Response: If ectopic pregnancy is not treated promptly, it is likely to endanger the life of the expectant mother. Therefore, if vaginal bleeding occurs in early pregnancy and is accompanied by abdominal pain, you should seek medical attention immediately without delay. Expectant mothers who have had a history of ectopic pregnancy should be more careful and undergo careful B-ultrasound examinations in the early stages of pregnancy. Determine whether the pregnancy is intrauterine.

Measures: If vaginal bleeding and lower abdominal pain occur after menopause, you should pay close attention and go to the hospital to rule out ectopic pregnancy. If you experience severe lower abdominal pain at home, call 120. Before the ambulance arrives, you should keep your head down, feet high, and stay quiet to prevent bleeding, as bleeding can cause anemia and shock.
