Brown blood on the tenth day of menstruation

Brown blood on the tenth day of menstruation

Under normal circumstances, women will have menstruation every month. The menstrual situation is related to the physical health of women. You should pay attention to body care before and after menstruation every month. During menstruation, women's body resistance is relatively low and they are prone to some diseases. If there is brown blood on the tenth day of menstruation, it may be caused by many reasons and women should pay attention to it.

1. Bleeding during intercourse:

Bleeding during intercourse after menstruation is often related to gynecological diseases such as vaginitis, cervical erosion, cervical polyps, early cervical cancer, submucosal fibroids, etc. After suffering from these gynecological diseases, there is usually a small amount of bleeding after sexual intercourse. A small amount of blood may not be bright red, it may also be pink or brown. It is recommended to get checked and treated as soon as possible.

2. Irregular vaginal bleeding:

It is continuous, sometimes stops, sometimes more and sometimes less. It is common in anovulatory dysfunctional uterine bleeding (dysfunctional uterine bleeding), submucosal uterine fibroids, early endometriosis, cervical cancer, etc.

3. Spotting before and after menstruation:

It lasts for several days, causing the entire menstrual period to last more than ten days or even longer, and it is often endless. It can be seen in ovulatory uterine bleeding (dysfunctional uterine bleeding), endometriosis, or as a side effect of intrauterine device placement.

4. Ovulation bleeding:

The amount of this bleeding is not much. Some people only have a small amount of brown secretion. It usually lasts for half a day or 2-3 days, and no more than 7 days at most. It may be accompanied by mild ovulation pain and back pain. If the symptoms are mild, no treatment is required, but if the symptoms are obvious and may affect fertility, treatment should be given.

5. Taking emergency contraceptive pills:

The impact of emergency contraceptive pills on menstruation is mainly manifested in changes in the menstrual cycle, which may be early or delayed. Especially for repeated users, it can cause menstrual disorders, bleeding, and continuous spotting.

6. Vaginal bleeding in menopausal women:

For some women who still have sex, due to vaginal dryness after menopause, if they do not use some lubricants, it is easy to cause mechanical damage to the vagina and bleeding. In addition, as age increases, the risk of cervical cancer and uterine cancer increases, so the possibility of cancer must be ruled out.
