How long does the confinement period last after a caesarean section?

Cesarean section is a way of giving birth. Compared with natural birth, cesarean section can avoid the occurrence of labor pain. But on the other hand, the mother still needs to suffer a little, because cesarean section is a surgery, so she needs to rest for a long time and wait until the wound heals before she can return to normal. After giving birth, all mothers need to stay in confinement, so how long does it take for a caesarean section to stay in confinement?

1. You must rest for one month or one and a half months. For two weeks after delivery, you must stay in bed except for eating and going to the bathroom. If you sit or walk around frequently, it may cause uterine prolapse.

2. Prepare two or three strips of white gauze with a width of about 30-40 cm and a length that can wrap around the abdomen 12 and a half times. After delivery, you should tie a belly band tightly to prevent your internal organs from sagging. Prolapse of internal organs will lead to gynecological diseases, protruding abdomen and ugly body shape. Wearing a belly band can also improve the condition of an obvious lower abdomen before childbirth. Belly bands cannot be replaced by ordinary trousers and abdominal belts. Because not only do they have no effect, they also have a counterproductive effect.

3. In the first two weeks, you can only use warm wine water for sponge bath. The method is to boil half water and half rice wine, add a little salt, soak a towel in it, wring it dry, and rub it on your body. You can take a shower from the third week and take a bath after the full month. (Natural delivery)

4. Use boiled water until it is warm before washing your face or brushing your teeth. You can use skin care products.

5. Washing your hair is strictly prohibited. Because the scalp cannot get cold.

6. You cannot hold children. Otherwise, the internal organs may prolapse. You can lie on your side while feeding.

7. Do not bathe children, otherwise it may cause back pain and numbness in hands and feet. Therefore, when giving a child a bath, leave it to LG and others.

8. There should be a quiet and comfortable environment. When the sunlight is too strong, draw the curtains to protect your eyes. You can't be blown by the wind, because the pores all over the body are open after giving birth, and blowing the wind can easily cause headaches and joint pains. Even fanning yourself is not allowed.

9. Do not climb stairs during the confinement period, and do not lift heavy objects within six months after delivery to avoid sagging of internal organs.
