Is nephritis serious in women?

In recent years, more and more women have been suffering from nephritis. If you suffer from nephritis, don't worry. Find the right method and identify the cause. Nephritis can be cured. Many people do not know much about nephritis and have an incorrect understanding of it, thinking that nephritis is a common disease in women. In fact, as the disease progresses, it will have a very serious impact on women's physical and mental health.

Symptoms of early nephritis in women

1. Infections of varying degrees. The onset of nephritis is closely related to the patient's infection to a certain extent, such as common upper respiratory tract infection, pharyngitis, etc. When these symptoms of infection appear, patients should be examined promptly to rule out the possibility of nephritis.

2. Edema occurs in the body. Another common symptom of female nephritis patients is body edema, with the most common areas of edema being the face, lower limbs, chest and abdomen. At the same time, patients may also experience symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, and lower back pain. Blood may be mixed in the urine, and the urine may have an abnormal color. These may be symptoms of early nephritis. Once these symptoms appear, female friends must pay attention and seek examination and treatment as soon as possible.

3. Abnormal urine volume. Some female nephritis patients may experience abnormal urine volume or increased or decreased urination frequency in the early stages. Especially if the frequency of urination at night is more than 3 times, it should be taken seriously and go to the hospital for a urine sampling test in time to find out whether there is any kidney lesion.

4. Accompanied by hypertension. Among the female nephritis patients surveyed, nearly one-third had symptoms of hypertension, which usually manifested as dizziness, fatigue, poor sleep quality, etc. If these symptoms continue for a long time, they will seriously affect the patient's normal life and work. Once such symptoms occur, please be sure to seek medical attention promptly so that nephritis can be detected and treated early.

5. If female nephritis develops to a moderate level, symptoms of anemia will also appear, and the patient will often feel dizzy, weak, and have a poor complexion. At this time, she needs to be examined in time for symptomatic treatment.

Can patients with chronic nephritis get pregnant?

During pregnancy, women's kidneys, blood pressure and other related aspects will undergo physiological changes. Women with chronic nephritis who do not understand the physical conditions for pregnancy or do not follow the precautions after pregnancy often suffer recurrence or aggravation of the original disease, thereby endangering the fetus.

Whether a patient with chronic nephritis can become pregnant depends on her condition. The patient's condition must be stable, her blood pressure and renal function must be normal, and her renal pathology must be minimal lesions, early membranous nephropathy or mild mesangial hyperplasia, with no obvious tubulointerstitial lesions. The more of the above conditions are met, the safer the mother and fetus will be after pregnancy, and the greater the possibility of a successful pregnancy. The pregnancy generally goes well and has no adverse effects on the original disease. If the patient desires to have a child, can understand the problems that may occur after pregnancy, and can actively cooperate with the doctor to monitor her condition, she can become pregnant.

If the patient has normal renal function but has high blood pressure, complications are more likely to occur during pregnancy. For those with moderate renal impairment, the prognosis is poor, and existing kidney disease and renal function may worsen. For those with severe renal impairment, normal pregnancy and delivery are almost impossible. Therefore, patients with these three conditions should avoid pregnancy as much as possible.
