It is normal for acne to appear on our bodies, which is usually caused by blocked hair follicles. Acne most commonly appears on the face and back. The type is relatively easy to identify and it is not difficult to deal with. However, some people find that they have a lot of acne on their chests. Since it is not very common, they are not sure why they appear in this area. So, what does it mean when pimples appear on the chest? What caused it? Genetic factors Genetic factors are one of the reasons for chest acne. There are two manifestations of heredity. One is congenital, and acne starts to appear at a very young age. The other type will only appear at a certain period of time, or when receiving some stimulation, the genetic factors in the body will begin to take effect. Improper use of skin care products Human skin is a relatively delicate part, and different skin care products are needed in each season. Many skin care products on the market are also produced according to different seasons. If you don't pay attention to the difference when using skin care products, it can easily lead to improper use and cause some diseases, such as acne on the chest. Excessive oil secretion of the skin This is a very common cause of chest acne. Some people have a thicker stratum corneum and secrete more oil, which can easily clog the pores. The pores become more and more blocked and gradually grow larger, forming acne. Types of acne acne (1) Whiteheads: Closed comedones without heads. They appear as small yellow-white bumps of varying sizes, buried in the skin, with no openings and no visible heads. (2) Blackheads: Open comedones look like small black spots protruding from the skin. They are formed when oil plugs are oxidized by air. When the black spots are squeezed out, they leave small pits, causing enlarged pores. Acne (1) Papule type: The skin lesions are mainly pin-cap-sized inflammatory papules. The face is often flushed, and the papules are scattered or densely distributed in groups. This type of acne mainly manifests on the forehead and temples of early patients. Patients are generally young, but there are also older patients, but the onset is more rapid, often covering the entire face overnight. (2) Pustular type: The skin lesions are mainly mung bean-sized papules. The main sites of this type of acne are on both sides of the nose, under the eyes, and on the cheekbones. The adenocarcinoma site on the temple is generally larger than other sites. It is more severe in summer than in winter, but it heals with pus discharge and generally recovers well. (3) Cyst type: The skin lesions are mainly cystic masses of varying sizes. This type of acne king grows on the outer side of the mouth corners and the front side of the ears. Its external shape is generally long and strip-shaped. It recovers slowly and heals without leaving pits, but the lesions are easily deformed. |
