What to do if breast acupuncture hurts

During the lactation period, women often experience some discomfort in their breasts, such as needle-piercing pain in the breasts, and also accompanied by a throbbing pain. This feeling is very uncomfortable and seriously affects women's sleep quality. It will also affect the feeding of the baby. The reasons for this situation are also very complicated. It may be caused by breast disease or other factors. So what should we do if the breast is pricked by needles?

First, what should I do if I feel pain from a needle prick in the breast? Does any breast pain mean mastitis? Mastitis is accompanied by breast pain, and there are two types of mastitis: mastitis caused by milk stasis. When we observe the surface of the breast, we will see lumps or redness on the surface, which can be identified with the naked eye; mastitis caused by bacteria invading the mammary ducts also causes breast pain in the early stages of the disease, but this pain is not like a needle prick, and after a period of time, the surface of the breast invaded by bacteria will also turn red, and the mother will have a fever. If you look carefully, you can tell the difference. Therefore, pain is not necessarily mastitis, but mothers need to carefully observe their physical condition and solve the problem accordingly.

Second, the milk wave is coming. This situation is more common in mothers with a lot of milk. Moreover, the tingling pain will be accompanied by a tingling and numb feeling, which is what we often call the "milk production" feeling. It is a normal phenomenon during breastfeeding and there is no need to worry.

Third, breast engorgement and pain. If the baby does not breastfeed for a few hours, mothers will also feel a tingling sensation in their breasts. This is the pain caused by breast engorgement. As long as the baby breastfeeds or the milk is discharged, the pain will disappear. But we must avoid prolonged breast engorgement, otherwise it will lead to milk stasis and the difficult mastitis will "come uninvited".

Fourth, lactation pain. Mothers who are still in confinement may also experience stinging pain during lactation. This is because the baby is young, the sucking strength and frequency are relatively small, the sucking is not sufficient, and the mammary glands are not very unobstructed. At this time, as long as the baby eats more and the mother and baby develop a tacit understanding, the pain will soon disappear.

What should I do if my breast hurts when I prick it with a needle? Fat particles. This condition is more common in mothers who eat greasy food. Fat molecules are large and easily condense into particles that "wander" in the mammary ducts, not only causing a tingling sensation in the breasts, but also making it particularly easy to form "white spots" and clog the nipples. Therefore, we strongly recommend that mothers consume a balanced diet with a scientific ratio.
