Women will have many diseases in their life. Since breasts are very important for adult women, they are taken seriously by many women. As we all know, every year a large number of breast cancer patients lose their precious lives due to delayed treatment. At the same time, the incidence of many diseases such as breast hyperplasia and breast fibroadenoma is also very high. Therefore, women should regularly check their breasts. So what is the order of breast examination? First, what is the order of breast examination? Perform breast self-examination at the same time every month, preferably one week after menstruation. To allow for accurate and consistent inspection and comparison. More than 80% of breast cancers are first discovered by the patients and then further diagnosed in the hospital. Generally, the breasts are small, and the lump is about 0.5 cm in size, which can be felt by self-examination. Patients with larger breasts are obese and may be able to feel a lump as small as 1.0 cm. Lie flat on your back, not in a particularly soft place. Relax your whole body and place one arm under your head. If the breasts are larger, a cushion can be placed on the side that is being examined. Second, use your other hand to check your breast. Use the tips of your three middle fingers to slide parallely over the breast, applying a certain amount of pressure, and check in a certain order. When examining the right breast, palpate in a counterclockwise direction, and the left breast in a clockwise direction. When checking the nipple and areola area, use your fingers to press toward the chest wall. Finally, check the armpit and feel along the upper collarbone toward the armpit to look for enlarged lymph nodes. Third, pain accompanied by redness, heat, or nipple discharge may be a manifestation of benign hyperplasia or breast cancer. A movable mass that does not feel attached to the chest cavity may be a cyst or a fibroid. A hard, immobile lump or feeling stuck to the chest wall, or a dimple or wrinkle formation in the breast may be breast cancer. What is the order of breast examination? Raise your hands above your head. Put your hands firmly on your waist and contract your chest muscles. Lean forward and observe the shape of your breasts, nipples, and areolas. Pay attention to changes in the appearance of both breasts, whether they are symmetrical, whether there are local skin bulges, depressions, and orange peel-like changes, and whether the skin on the surface of the breasts is red, swollen, hot, or painful. Check whether the nipples on both sides are symmetrical, whether they are recently depressed, and whether there are scales on the nipples. Gently squeeze the nipples and observe whether there is any secretion. 2. Breast "touch" examination method: Lie on your left side, bend your knees, place your right hand on your forehead, and place a pillow under your right shoulder. Use the pulp of your left index finger, middle finger, and ring finger to touch the right breast. Be careful not to pinch the breast tissue for examination. |
