What is brown discharge during pregnancy?

1. If the bleeding is minor and the abdominal pain is mild. There may be signs of miscarriage. If there are no abnormalities in the development of the embryo during this process, the bleeding can be stopped through tocolysis treatment and the pregnancy can be resumed.

2. Bleeding during pregnancy may also be a manifestation of a small amount of menstruation during pregnancy. In the first few days of bleeding, you should pay attention to rest and do not do strenuous exercise. If the bleeding does not stop on its own within 1-2 days, you should go to the hospital for a detailed examination in time.

3. If you have bleeding during pregnancy, with dull pain and distension in the lower abdomen, and heavy bleeding, it may be caused by an ectopic pregnancy. In this case, ultrasound examination will usually not show the gestational sac.

How to prevent bleeding during pregnancy

1. Pregnant women should quit smoking and drinking: It is known that cigarettes contain a variety of harmful substances. The tar in cigarettes will accelerate the fetal heartbeat, reduce the embryo's blood volume, affect the baby's development, and cause malnutrition or deformity. Ethanol is also taboo as it can cause language delay, deformity or intellectual disability in the fetus.

2. Pay attention to anti-electromagnetic radiation: electrical appliances all have some radiation sources, which can cause mutual harm to pregnant women and fetuses.

3. Don't drink tea: Because tea contains rich caffeine, drinking tea will increase the heart rate of pregnant women, increase renal blood volume, increase the heart and kidney pressure of pregnant women, which is not conducive to the healthy growth and development of the fetus.

Bleeding during pregnancy may be a threatened miscarriage or it may be a normal condition. If the cause cannot be accurately identified, you must go to the hospital in time to find out the cause of bleeding. However, bleeding during pregnancy is somewhat related to the living habits of the pregnant mother. At this time, the pregnant mother should be reminded to pay attention to safety so that the baby can grow smoothly.
