For hypoglycemia caused by different causes, we adopt different countermeasures. For moderate to severe hypoglycemia, taking sugary drinks, red bean syrup, or eating toast, sugar cubes, steamed buns, cookies, etc. can alleviate the symptoms. Some hypoglycemia is caused by various potential reasons, so it is necessary to avoid pathogens at this time. For example, if hypoglycemia is caused by drugs, you should stop using the relevant drugs immediately. For patients with severe conditions and suspected hypoglycemia coma, the capillary blood glucose level should be measured immediately, or even without the blood glucose result, 40-60 μl of 50% glucose should be given intravenously, followed by intravenous drip of 5%-10% glucose solution. The important point to note is that for patients who are unconscious, do not feed them to prevent respiratory asphyxiation.

In fact, in daily life, hypoglycemia is quite common among women. If we find ourselves feeling unwell in public, we should be more alert, lend a helping hand in time, take the initiative to understand the situation and do something meaningful. It is recommended that women with hypoglycemia carry some sugar cubes in their bags to be prepared for any eventuality. In addition, one point that needs to be reminded is that if women have habitual hypoglycemia, they must pay enough attention to it, because this may be a signal of some diseases. At this time, they should go to a regular hospital for a thorough physical examination in order to find the cause of hypoglycemia as soon as possible and carry out subsequent treatment.
