Correct use of postpartum belly shaping belt

A belly band is also called a belly belt, and nowadays it mainly refers to a postpartum belly belt. In the early days, the main method of postpartum abdominal tightening was to wrap a gauze bandage around the abdomen to achieve the effect of abdominal restraint, so it was often called a "abdominal belt". After delivery, the mother's body is relatively weak and the elasticity of the ligaments in the body cannot be restored in time, which can easily cause sagging of internal organs. The abdominal belt can help the body support the internal organs. Using a belly band promptly after delivery can also stop bleeding and promote wound healing.

Precautions for using belly belt:

1. Pay attention to chemical fibers: chemical fibers have a strong odor and are generally uncomfortable. They can easily irritate the skin and cause allergies in the summer and become stiff and produce static electricity in the winter. These are especially the ones that come in several-piece sets, commonly known as "zongzi belly bands", which are very inconvenient to use. Therefore, you must understand the ingredients in the product when purchasing.

2. Afraid of being squeezed by bundling: Especially wide and thick belly bands. Although some sets of several sets (commonly known as "zongzi belly bands") are not expensive, they are actually mostly made of chemical fiber and basically do not contain cotton. They are not very convenient to use regardless of summer or winter. Bundling and squeezing the gastrointestinal tract and abdominal cavity are harmful to the body. It is not the case that the wider the belly band, the better.

3. Pure cotton is not elastic: Although pure cotton or gauze is breathable, it is not elastic. If it is loose, it will be ineffective. If it is too tight, it will be uncomfortable and inconvenient to use.

4. Pay attention when choosing the size of the belly band: the belly band is divided into large, medium and small sizes, so you must choose the right one. Many mothers are troubled by the size not fitting after buying it. It is recommended to choose a one-size-fits-all size with good natural elasticity.

Correct use of belly band

If you are using a professional functional belly belt, remove the outer packaging of the Chinese medicine patch, put it into the inner pocket of the belly belt, aim the Chinese medicine patch at the Shenque (navel), Qihai, and Guanyuan areas, with moderate tightness, and wear it for no less than 8 hours a day. Each Chinese medicine patch is valid for two months after unsealing. If you start using it more than two months after giving birth, choose the enhanced combination.
