What are the signs of pregnancy and childbirth?

Pregnancy is an important and special period in a woman's life. Almost every woman feels nervous during her first pregnancy. And the later it gets, the more likely you are to feel anxious. Some women even suffer from postpartum depression because they are always worried about the conditions during delivery. Female friends don’t have to worry too much, because there will be certain signs before pregnancy and delivery. If we do the preparation well and relax, it will be helpful for pregnant women to give birth smoothly.

Signs of labor that are easy to ignore:

It may feel like the baby is falling out of your lower body because the baby's head has descended into your pelvis. This situation often occurs 1 week or several hours before delivery.

Increased vaginal discharge is the sticky secretions that accumulate at the cervix during pregnancy. When labor is about to begin, the cervix swells and these sticky substances, like plugs, enter the vagina, causing increased vaginal discharge. This phenomenon often occurs a few days before or during delivery.

Watery but yellowish fluid trickles out of the vagina, perhaps in spurts, soaking your underwear or even your pants. This is the rupture of the amniotic membrane, called water breaking. This phenomenon often occurs a few hours before or near delivery.

There will be water breaking before the baby is born, but some water breaking is not real. Only the anterior membrane sac is broken, and the fetal membrane wrapping the fetus is not broken, so after a stream of amniotic fluid flows out, it disappears.

Regular abdominal muscle cramps, pain or soreness in the back, waist, stomach, sacrum (tailbone), or pubic bone (bone under the abdomen). This is caused by the alternating contractions and relaxations of the uterus, which become more intense as labor approaches.
