What are the signs before the second child is born?

Now our country has issued a policy allowing people to have a second child, so some older women also want to have a second child. In order to avoid deficiencies in delivery when having a second child, we can understand the signs before having a second child, so that we can go to the hospital to give birth in time to avoid increasing the chance of bad phenomena. So what are the signs before a woman has a second child? Let’s take a detailed look at the introduction.

1. Uterine contractions

Before the second child was born, the mother had contractions approximately every 35 minutes, and each contraction lasted 30-60 seconds. When the contractions just start, you don't need to rush to the hospital. It's not too late to go to the hospital when the contractions occur about every 57 minutes. Before giving birth, mothers should distinguish between the symptoms of false labor and labor contractions.

2. Seeing red

Generally, after seeing blood, it basically means entering the stage of labor. If you find that the underwear near the vaginal opening feels wet and uncomfortable, you should immediately check whether there is bloody secretion on the underwear. If only a small amount of light blood flows out of the vagina, you can stay at home and observe first. If you have fresh bleeding, more than your menstrual period, or are experiencing abdominal pain, you should go to the hospital to give birth!

3. Baby sinks

A few days before the second child is due, there will be a feeling of "fetus falling". This is actually a reaction of the baby's head sinking into the mother's pelvis, usually a week or several hours before delivery. If mothers feel that the pressure in the pelvic area is getting worse, they should pay attention to adjusting their breathing!

4. Fetal movement decreases

As the second child is due, the mother's fetal movements will significantly decrease as the amount of amniotic fluid decreases and the fetal head enters the pelvis. However, even if the mother's fetal movement decreases, the number of fetal movements will remain greater than 3 times per hour. If it is less than 3 times per hour, there may be fetal intrauterine hypoxia. At this time, you need to go to the hospital to check whether there is any abnormality.

5. Increased secretions

The secretions during pregnancy are very viscous, so they will accumulate at the cervical opening and block it. As the mother's due date approaches, her cervix swells, and the blockage in labor cannot be stopped, so secretions will flow out. It usually occurs a few days before delivery, so mothers should pay attention to it around the same time.

6. Rupture of the amniotic fluid

When the second child is about to be delivered, the uterine contractions intensify and the pressure in the uterine cavity increases, causing the amniotic sac to rupture and the clear yellowish amniotic fluid in the sac to flow out. Generally, delivery will occur soon after water breaks. At this time, mothers should be sent to the hospital for delivery in a lying position. Never stand upright or sit up to avoid umbilical cord prolapse, which may lead to serious consequences.
