Uterine pain symptoms, lower abdominal pain, what to do

The uterus is a very important part of women. The functioning of many organs in the body is closely related to the uterus, and the uterus is also related to women's physical health. The causes and symptoms of uterine abnormalities are very complex. Typical symptoms may include lower abdominal pain. For this type of situation, you must pay attention to symptomatic treatment. So what should you do if you have uterine pain and lower abdominal pain?

1. Hot compress

You can place a hot pack on your abdomen to warm it and maintain a comfortable temperature. The time depends on your personal needs.

2. Cold compress

If heat doesn't work, you can try cold compresses instead. Applying an ice pack directly to your lower abdomen may help.

3. Acupressure

You can use acupressure to relieve pain. There are two acupressure points. One is located on the inside of the leg about 5 cm above the ankle bone, and the other is at the bottom of the "V" shape formed by the thumb and index finger. Be careful to press as hard as possible to achieve the effect.

4. Medication relief

You can take over-the-counter nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen or aspirin. Any over-the-counter medicine must be taken according to the instructions, so remember to read the product label or ask the pharmacist for the appropriate dosage before use.

5. Massage

You can use 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of over-the-counter natural progesterone milk at night and massage it on the soft parts of the skin three times a day. You can also apply it on your cheeks, neck, inner thighs, inner arms and chest. Natural progesterone helps offset the effects of excess estrogen in the body. That is 1-2 weeks before your period. You can start applying lotion before ovulation and continue until the end of your menstrual cycle.

6. Daily diet and mood

In daily diet, try to stick to a low-fat diet, drink plenty of water, pay more attention to the absorption of various vitamins and iron-containing foods, and avoid spicy, alcoholic, frozen and other foods. During menstruation, you should pay attention to nutritional intake, apply warm packs, and eat more foods such as brown sugar, ginger and red dates.
