Common causes of anal pain after childbirth

Common causes of anal pain after childbirth

Most women will experience anal pain after giving birth, some due to anal fissures; some due to hemorrhoids and other problems. After childbirth, you should not only pay attention to the hygiene and cleanliness of the two labia, but also supplement the body's vitamins through diet to help compensate for the trauma to the organs after childbirth. If you experience unbearable anal pain after childbirth, you should go to the hospital for treatment in time.

Causes of anal pain

1. Vaginal dilation during delivery: If the mother chooses a natural birth, vaginal dilation and tearing during delivery will affect the anus, causing anal fissures.

2. Long-term constipation: This is also the main cause of postpartum anal fissure. During pregnancy, eating too much refined food and drinking too little water can cause constipation and induce anal fissure.

3. The vagina of a postpartum woman is infinitely expanded, causing wounds to appear at the vaginal opening. The anus is relatively close to the vagina, and repeated friction from feces during defecation can irritate the vagina and cause pain.

4. Not getting proper conditioning after delivery: unreasonable diet, often eating spicy and greasy food, stimulating intestinal digestive system disorders, constipation, and causing pain.

5. Precautions before and after delivery:

.Avoid sitting for long periods of time during pregnancy. If conditions permit, do ani exercises frequently, such as continuous rhythmic squatting-standing-squatting movements for 1-2 minutes each time, to promote blood circulation in the anus and prevent congestion.

.After delivery, pay attention to eating more high-fiber vegetables, fruits and whole grains to keep the stool soft, increase its volume and water content, and promote defecation.

.Get out of bed as soon as possible after delivery and engage in appropriate activities. In order to prevent feces from staying in the intestines for too long, perform abdominal massage when necessary to stimulate intestinal peristalsis.

.When constipation occurs, do not force a bowel movement. You can drink some honey water to lubricate the intestines and inject an appropriate amount of enema into the anus to facilitate the smooth discharge of feces to avoid anal fissures.

Female friends should pay attention to their physical health during the childbirth process, and take good care of themselves during the confinement period to avoid the occurrence of diseases.
