What causes women's stomach pain and back pain?

It is said that women are made of water, soft and fragile, and need to be well cared for. So what are the causes of stomach pain and back pain? If this situation has happened before during your period, then it is estimated that your period is about to come. You should pay attention to keeping warm and avoid touching cold water or drinking cold drinks. If you are not menstruating and are trying to get pregnant or are not using contraception, you need to consider whether you are pregnant. Because in the early stages of pregnancy, the uterus of some pregnant women will slowly grow larger and the ligaments of the uterus will be affected, and then abdominal pain and back pain will occur. If it is neither of the above two situations, then there may be an acute inflammation somewhere. It is recommended to go to the hospital for examination.

Dysmenorrhea treatment:

(I) Acupuncture points

(1) The middle of the spine, the pivot point, the gate of life, the lumbar spine, the spleen point, the stomach point, the triple burner point, the kidney point, and the Zhishi point.

(2) Shenque, Qihai, Guanyuan, Tianshu, Wailing, and Daju.

(B) Treatment method : First massage the back and waist, then massage the abdomen, and finally use your fingers or palms to rub the back, waist, thoracic vertebrae and lower limbs. First apply blood-activating liquid medicine (such as medicated oil or medicated wine), and then massage: from the 11th vertebra to the 2nd lumbar vertebra, and knead the muscles on both sides and the related acupoints such as the spine center, suture point, life gate, Jiaji, spleen point, stomach point, triple burner point, kidney point, and Zhishi point;

2. Use your fist to gently hit the painful area on your back and waist;

3. Use your fingers to massage the painful muscles in the abdomen and the acupoints such as Shenque, Qihai, Guanyuan, Tianshu, Wailing, and Daju;

4. Use your fingers to pinch and press the Yinbao, Xuehai, Sanyinjiao, Taichong and other acupoints on the lower limbs.

(III) Efficacy : Generally, abdominal pain will begin to be relieved after 5 minutes of back and waist massage. Continue massaging your back, waist and abdomen for 20 minutes and the abdominal pain will disappear. Massage once a day for 3-5 consecutive days. If you have a history of dysmenorrhea, you can start massaging 2 days before your period. If you want to consolidate the therapeutic effect, you can massage once every 2-3 days. To achieve the ideal effect, you need to persevere. Refer to the book "Illustrated Massage Therapy for Pain".

Sports conditioning:

1. Control the amount of exercise and avoid high-intensity, high-volume exercises such as running and jumping. It is not advisable to swim in the water.

2. Avoid participating in exercises that increase intra-abdominal pressure and cause violent abdominal vibrations, such as push-ups, sit-ups, high jump, long jump, basketball shooting, etc.

3. Keep warm after exercise to avoid excessive sweating and being exposed to the wind.

4. If you feel dizzy, nauseous, or anxious during exercise, you should stop exercising immediately and do not force yourself to do so.

5. People who suffer from dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia or menstrual disorders should exercise during menstruation under the guidance of a professional fitness coach.

Self-Care:

1. Eat a balanced diet

While a healthy diet won't eliminate period cramps, it can work wonders for improving your overall health. Avoid junk food that is too sweet or too salty as it will make you bloated and slow down. Eat more vegetables, fruits, chicken, fish, and try to eat small meals frequently.

2. Supplement minerals

Calcium, potassium and magnesium minerals can also help relieve menstrual pain. Experts have found that women who take calcium have less menstrual pain than those who do not. Magnesium is also important because it helps the body absorb calcium efficiently. You may want to increase your calcium and magnesium intake before and during your period.

3. Avoid caffeine

The caffeine contained in coffee, tea, cola and chocolate makes you nervous and may contribute to discomfort during menstruation. Therefore, caffeine should be avoided. In addition, the oils contained in coffee may also irritate the small intestine.

4. No alcohol

If you are prone to swelling during your period, alcohol will make the problem worse. Don't drink alcohol. If you must drink, limit it to 1-2 glasses of wine.
