What are the physiological characteristics of female ovulation?

Each menstrual cycle of a woman is divided into the menstrual period, ovulation period and safe period. Almost every adult woman calculates the ovulation period, because stopping sexual intercourse during the ovulation period is a traditional and relatively effective contraceptive method. The ovulation period is about days. But girls don’t have any special feelings during their ovulation period, so how can we calculate the ovulation period by combining some not-so-obvious characteristics of girls’ ovulation period?

Usually women's menstrual cycle is mainly divided into 4 cycles:

The menstrual phase (days 1-7), the follicular phase (the week before ovulation, days 7-13), the pre-luteal phase (the week after ovulation, days 14-20), and the late luteal phase (the week before menstruation, days 14-20). To understand which stage your skin is in, just measure your basal body temperature. Under normal circumstances, a woman's basal body temperature is lower before ovulation and rises after ovulation. Because, when the corpus luteum is formed after ovulation and the secretion of more progesterone stimulates the temperature regulation center of the hypothalamus, causing the basal body temperature to rise, and it will continue until the next menstruation before it starts to drop. Therefore, when the body temperature rises from a low level (increases by more than 0.3 degrees Celsius), it means that ovulation has been completed.

The measurement method is:

After waking up every morning, do not talk, move, or get up. Immediately measure your oral (or anal, armpit) temperature for more than 3 minutes. Record the basal body temperature measured every day on a temperature record sheet and connect them into a curve. You can see that the body temperature is lower in the first half of the menstrual period and rises in the second half of the menstrual period. The day when the body temperature rises from low to high on the temperature record chart is the ovulation day. If you have a cold, fever, diarrhea, insomnia, drink alcohol, use an electric blanket, etc., your basal body temperature will often be affected. Normally, a woman's basal body temperature changes cyclically, just like the menstrual cycle, and this temperature change is related to ovulation. As shown in the figure below: from the onset of menstruation to the ovulation day, the low temperature period lasts about two weeks; from the ovulation day to the next menstrual day, the body temperature rises by 0.3-0.5℃, and the high temperature period also lasts about two weeks. Generally, basal body temperature needs to be measured continuously for more than three menstrual cycles to explain the problem.

The ovulation period refers to the period before and after ovulation in women of childbearing age. Generally speaking, the ovulation period is between 5 days before ovulation and 5 days after ovulation.

Ovulation characteristics:

One is a decrease in appetite. Most women have poor appetite these days and eat less.

The second is that they are energetic. During the ovulation period, women's instinct makes them like to express themselves more.

Third, the sexual desire is stronger because these days are the time when pregnancy is possible.

Fourth, the body's resistance will be weaker.
