Can I take a bath and wash my hair during the confinement period?

I heard from the elderly that you cannot wash your hair during the confinement period, and you must ensure that you cannot wash your hair for a whole month. However, because the head needs daily metabolism and secretion, and the body secretions are not coordinated after giving birth, the body secretions are too strong, and the hair secretes too much oil, which causes the scalp to become itchy for a long time and there is a lot of dandruff. In fact, you can wash your hair during the confinement period, as long as you are in a warm room and dry your hair in time, you will not catch a cold or be caught in the wind.

During childbirth, a large amount of sweat is often secreted, and the metabolism is vigorous after childbirth, which further increases the oil secretion of the scalp. But you can still wash your hair and take a bath normally during the confinement period. However, please note the following points:

1. After washing your hair during confinement, you should dry it in time. It is best to blow it dry with a hair dryer immediately to prevent the scalp blood vessels from suddenly contracting after being stimulated by cold and causing headaches.

2. The water temperature for washing your hair during confinement should be appropriate.

3. After washing your hair, if it is not completely dry, you must not go to bed immediately, otherwise it will easily cause a headache.

4. During the confinement period, you can use ginger peel to boil water to wash your hair. Ginger has the effect of dispelling wind and cold, and is suitable for postpartum women.

5. Postpartum hair is oilier and more prone to hair loss. Do not use shampoos that are too irritating when washing your hair during the confinement period.
