Oral ulcers during pregnancy must be treated with caution

Oral ulcers during pregnancy must be treated with caution

For pregnant women, they must be particularly cautious when treating diseases and must not be careless. For example, when treating oral ulcers, it is best to use some physical therapies, such as eating more foods high in vitamin B, gargling with salt water, etc. In addition, they must maintain adequate sleep.

1. Causes of oral ulcers in pregnant women

During pregnancy, the demand for various nutrients increases, and if they are not supplemented in time, nutrient deficiencies will occur. Oral ulcers are mainly caused by a lack of vitamin B2, such as insufficient or restricted dietary supply, improper storage and processing, etc. If the appetite is poor, the intake will be insufficient, and the requirement is greater than usual, so oral ulcers are more likely to occur.

In addition to nutrient deficiencies, the following reasons can also cause oral ulcers in pregnant women:

1. Long hours, anger, staying up late, excessive fatigue, etc.

2. Smoking, drinking, drinking beverages, eating chili peppers and other highly irritating foods.

3. Prolonged exposure to cold, heat and dehydration.

4. Often eat raw, cold, dry, hard, barbecued and other foods.

5. Eat freshly harvested wheat, corn, sweet potatoes and other grain crops.

6. Related to the digestive system, such as indigestion, gastritis, and constipation.

2. Treatment of oral ulcers in pregnant women

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that to improve recurrent oral ulcers, one should pay attention to smooth bowel movements and adequate sleep, especially smooth bowel movements are an indispensable treatment method in the treatment of recurrent oral ulcers. You should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables to cleanse the stomach and intestines. At the same time, since oral ulcers may also be caused by a lack of vitamin B2, you can eat more vegetables and wheat germ, and supplement with vitamin C and zinc.

3. What medicine should pregnant women take for oral ulcers

When oral ulcers occur, you can use chlorhexidine mouthwash or compound borax mouthwash to rinse locally, 3 to 5 times a day, 10 ml each time, hold it in your mouth for 5 to 10 minutes and then spit it out. Then use oral ulcer anti-inflammatory film, cut it into the size of the ulcer surface, stick it on the ulcer, and wait for it to dissolve naturally. Or you can dip a cotton swab in a small amount of 0.5% dyclonine solution and apply it to the ulcer. You can also use a powder mixed with Zhuhuang Powder and Indigo Powder and apply it to the ulcer surface. It can astringe and relieve pain and help healing. A small amount of chloramphenicol eye ointment applied to the ulcer surface can also relieve pain and promote ulcer healing.
