Why does heavy menstrual flow occur after miscarriage?

Miscarriage is what we often call abortion. Some patients will experience excessive menstrual flow, which makes them very worried. Experts say that this is caused by abnormal vaginal bleeding, abnormal pregnancy, endocrine dysfunction, improper contraceptive methods and other reasons. Treatment must be persisted from the source. Do not choose treatment methods arbitrarily, otherwise the consequences will be very serious.

1. Abnormal vaginal bleeding and abnormal pregnancy. If your menstruation was normal before, but suddenly became late for more than a week or ten days for no apparent reason, and then the amount of blood flowed heavily, like a floodgate opened, and it was mixed with more blood clots or tissue than usual, and it lasted longer than usual. This may be abnormal vaginal bleeding in mature women and is sometimes associated with pregnancy complications.

2. Endocrine dysfunction. If you often experience irregular menstruation, variable menstrual flow, irregular periods, premenstrual spotting and other symptoms, and cannot find other obvious reasons, then it is likely that functional abnormalities are at work. In fact, excessive menstruation in many women is sometimes not pathological. For example, when entering menopause, menstruation becomes irregular. At this time, it is time to consider the possibility of functional disorder. The estrogen disorder that many people often mention is this case.

3. Improper contraceptive method. If your menstrual flow suddenly increases, and your menstrual cycle suddenly becomes shorter or longer, this is most likely related to the contraceptive method you use. The most common "trouble" is the IUD. In particular, the new generation of active uterine rings with copper ions improve contraceptive effectiveness while also increasing menstrual bleeding. If the drug is not taken according to the prescription information, or if a dose is missed or taken incorrectly, it may also lead to a disorder in the body's reproductive hormone levels, affecting the development of the endometrium and causing abnormal bleeding.
