Women who have had childbirth experience can easily accept pregnancy again, but it is not so easy for some women who are preparing for pregnancy for the first time. In most cases, they don’t know that they are pregnant. In fact, there are many ways to test early pregnancy, such as early pregnancy test strips, basal body temperature measurement, B-type ultrasound examination, etc., which can be tested around 40 days of pregnancy. Early pregnancy test method 1. Early pregnancy test paper test On the seventh day of a woman's pregnancy, a specific hormone, human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), will appear in her urine. The early pregnancy test strip determines whether a woman is pregnant by detecting hCG in her urine. In general, if two obvious color bands appear in the test area, it indicates a positive result, indicating that the woman is pregnant. Early pregnancy test strips can be used about half a month after a woman has had sexual intercourse to detect whether she is pregnant from her urine. Early pregnancy test method 2: basal body temperature measurement Basal body temperature measurement is also a good method for early pregnancy detection. Basal body temperature, also known as resting body temperature, refers to the body temperature measured after a person has 6-8 hours of sleep, when the body temperature has not been affected by exercise, diet or emotional changes. Basal body temperature is usually the lowest body temperature of the human body during the day. If a woman is pregnant, her basal body temperature will not drop but will remain at a high temperature. The reason why the body temperature remains high is that the amount of hormones secreted by the ovaries increases after pregnancy. However, we cannot rule out the possibility that it is caused by a cold, so to be cautious, you should go to a regular hospital for examination and diagnosis. Early pregnancy detection method three: B-type ultrasound examination Using B-ultrasound to diagnose whether a woman is pregnant is currently the most accurate and reliable method. In the fifth week of a woman's pregnancy, which is one week after her menstrual period, a round halo can be seen in the uterus on the B-ultrasound screen, also known as the pregnancy ring. The dark area inside the ring is amniotic fluid, in which a rhythmic fetal heartbeat can also be seen. Secondly, B-ultrasound examination can also rule out ectopic pregnancy so that female friends can take appropriate measures as soon as possible. |
