How to treat menopausal urethritis

When women are in menopause, their physical fitness is prone to decline, their immunity is also prone to decline, and they are also prone to some mental problems, which can easily lead to urethritis or other diseases. At this time, they must undergo regular treatment and use drugs to carry out good anti-inflammatory and bactericidal activities. In addition, they must pay attention to the conditioning of their daily life and the cleanliness of their private parts.

It is understood that the most common diseases of the menopausal urogenital tract in clinical practice include senile vaginitis, Trichomonas vaginitis, etc., which are manifested by increased leucorrhea, vulvar dryness, itching, and pain during sexual intercourse. Examination may reveal punctate congestion of the vaginal mucosa; the second is atrophic urethritis, which is manifested by urethral caruncle, urgency, frequency, pain, and difficulty in urination, and occasionally hematuria, but urine test results may be normal; there is also uterine prolapse and bulging of the anterior and posterior vaginal walls.

Experts remind that menopausal women should pay attention to the following to prevent urinary system diseases: 1. Pay attention to hygiene at ordinary times. The vulva skin of menopausal women is generally dry and atrophied, so do not use soap or medicine to clean the vulva casually, but use clean water to clean it; toilet paper should be selected with the word "Xiaozhun" on it, and underwear, basins, and towels should not be shared with others.

2. Use warm water frequently to clean the vulva, and do not use hot water to scald the vulva to avoid dryness of the vulva skin. Pay attention to strengthening nutrition and eat more foods rich in vitamin A and vitamin B complex, which are beneficial for promoting healing and anti-inflammation of vaginal mucosa. 3. For patients with recurrent urinary tract infections, local vaginal administration of estrogen can significantly reduce the frequency of urinary tract infections, and oral estrogen replacement therapy can also improve bladder function.

Postmenopausal women are prone to urination problems due to their declining comprehensive abilities, accompanied by underlying diseases such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes, malnutrition, aging of the immune system, decreased defense functions, and decreased organ functions. All of these are conducive to the growth and reproduction of bacteria and can easily lead to infection.
