Does a chemical pregnancy cause bleeding?

Some people may not have heard of biochemical pregnancy, but the probability of it happening in life is relatively high. Biochemical pregnancy refers to a woman who has been found to be pregnant, but after a period of time, no gestational sac is found during ultrasound examination, and her menstruation has occurred again. These are the symptoms of a chemical pregnancy. So will bleeding occur when symptoms of biochemical pregnancy occur? Let’s take a look together.

Biochemical pregnancy is a situation where the sperm and egg fail to implant in the uterus after combining and are lost along with the menstrual period. Usually the fertilized egg will be miscarried naturally within 50 days, usually in the early stages of pregnancy, so many people think it is a delayed menstruation and do not think about biochemical pregnancy.

Usually, the combination of sperm and egg will lead to implantation in the uterus. About 14 days after implantation, a weak positive reaction can be detected through the early pregnancy test paper. Under normal circumstances, the test paper will darken day by day until it becomes a strong positive. However, the test results of patients with biochemical pregnancy will become lighter day by day and will not reach a strong positive state.

Some people with biochemical pregnancies will have obvious abdominal pain. Of course, the degree of abdominal pain varies from person to person. Some people will have persistent abdominal pain, while most people will only have short-term abdominal pain. Some people will only feel back pain and will not have abdominal pain. The vast majority of people will not have any symptoms at all.

If we want to confirm a biochemical pregnancy, we can usually only make a judgment based on some medical data. For women with normal pregnancy, the HCG level in their blood will double every other day. The better the doubling rate, the better the embryo development. If it is a biochemical pregnancy, the HCG level in the blood will be very low and will not double. In addition, no gestational sac can be seen through B-ultrasound examination.
