1. What is candidal vaginitis?

Most of the candidal vaginitis is caused by Candida albicans (also known as Candida), so candidal vaginitis is also called Trichomonas vaginitis. Candida albicans is a common beneficial bacteria. They parasitize on the skin, mucous membranes, digestive system and other parts of the body, but they do not affect daily life and work due to the disease. However, when encountering suitable natural environments such as humidity and heat, Trichomonas will multiply in large numbers and erode the body, causing the occurrence of symptoms. Therefore, in the hot rainy season, many women have found that their lower body becomes increasingly hot and itchy, and they even feel uneasy and have difficulty sleeping. 2. Symptoms of candidal vaginitis

The main symptoms of patients with candidal vaginitis are:

(1) Excessive vaginal discharge, itching and burning sensation in the private parts and genitals, painful urination, redness and edema around the private parts, and various changes in the skin; shallow vesicles and papules may occur, appearing in groups;

(2) Eczematous erosions may also occur, which may be limited to the private parts or extend to the perineum, anus, and genital folds, until the thigh root and surface, which is completely similar to subacute or acute eczema.

(3) The mucous membranes around the vulva and clitoris become thicker, and the surface of the skin that touches each other becomes red and eroded;

(4) Some cases may cause tiny milky white pustules, and in more severe cases, ulcers, vulvar pain, and local lymph node swelling.
