What do false labors feel like?

During false labor, you will feel your stomach tightening and hardening and even feel some pain, but there is no regularity and it usually does not last more than thirty seconds. Generally, false labor often occurs in the late pregnancy. When false labor occurs, you do not need to take medicine. Just rest more and avoid stimulating the abdomen. However, if the contractions are regular and accompanied by lower back pain and abdominal pain, you should seek medical attention promptly.

1. The whole stomach is tense and hard.

2. Just like the lower abdominal pain during menstruation, the pain varies from person to person.

3. The pain is limited to the lower part of the uterus and stops after a few hours without any regularity.

The difference between false labor and true labor

The contractions of the uterus during labor are regular. Initially, the interval is about 10 minutes, and pregnant women feel abdominal pain, and then the duration of the pain gradually increases to 40 seconds to 60 seconds. The severity increases and the interval shortens to about 3-5 minutes. When the uterus contracts and abdominal pain occurs, the lower abdomen may feel hard.

Some women feel the pain of the beginning of uterine contractions in the abdomen, while others feel it in the waist. In fact, if the contractions are not strong, you may not feel them or they may be the same as the lower abdominal pain during menstruation. The intensity of pain varies from person to person.

The contractions come like waves, with waves of pain spreading to the lower abdomen, or there may be backache and a feeling of defecation. This type of contraction is in preparation for the birth of the baby. So this little pain is nothing. As long as you cooperate with the doctor and use the breathing exercises you have practiced to coordinate the contractions, you can successfully go through the delivery. A doctor once said it well: "When the mother is nervous, her cervix tightens; when the mother relaxes, her cervix relaxes." Only when the pregnant woman relaxes can the baby come into this world smoothly.
