How to differentiate benign and malignant breast lumps

How to differentiate benign and malignant breast lumps

When women have lumps in their breasts, they will be very worried, fearing that they are malignant tumors. In fact, there is no need to worry too much, because breast hyperplasia is a relatively common disease. As a person, you can make some distinctions. Of course, this is only preliminary. For example, whether the breast hyperplasia develops too quickly, whether there will be some other symptoms, of course, if hyperplasia occurs, you should go to the hospital for a good examination in time.

1. Location: With the nipple as the center, the breast can be divided into five areas by making a cross: upper inner, upper outer, lower inner, lower outer and central (areola). Breast cancer is most common on the outer side, followed by the inner side. Inner-lower and outer-lower are less common.

2. Infrared scanning: It mainly uses the different absorption rates of infrared rays by soft tissues of different structures in the human body for diagnosis. Sometimes there is a certain degree of accuracy, but in many cases it is impossible to make an accurate judgment. Its advantages are low price and no harm to the human body.

3. Size: The lumps of early breast cancer are generally small and sometimes difficult to distinguish from lobular hyperplasia or some benign lesions. However, even a very small lump may sometimes affect the suspensory ligaments of the breast, causing symptoms such as local skin indentation or nipple retraction, which are easier to detect early. In the past, due to poor medical care, lumps were often larger when patients sought medical treatment. Nowadays, with the popularization of breast self-examination and the development of screening work, the number of early breast cancer cases has increased clinically.

Breast lumps care methods

1. Pay more attention to your diet. If you suffer from mastitis, you should avoid eating raw, cold, spicy, meaty, greasy foods, etc. These foods are extremely harmful to the body and can easily worsen the condition. Experts say that if you suffer from mastitis, it is better to eat a light diet. You can eat more foods that clear away heat and reduce fire, such as fresh vegetables and fruits, which are also very helpful for the condition.

2. The breastfeeding method should be correct. During breastfeeding, if the method is incorrect, it is easy to cause mastitis or aggravate the condition of mastitis. Experts remind postpartum women to learn more about breastfeeding and adopt the correct breastfeeding method. For example, empty the milk in both breasts each time and avoid the nipples being bitten by the baby.

3. Maintain regular sleep. Sleep is not only beneficial to endocrine balance, but also provides a good environment for various hormones in the body to exert their healthy effects in a balanced manner. A good internal environment will reduce the incidence of various breast diseases.

4. Feel good. When you are in a good mood, your ovaries will not be affected by your mood and will ovulate normally. The secretion of progesterone will be normal, and the breast will not be unilaterally stimulated by estrogen and develop lesions.
