Two periods in half a month

Two periods in half a month

Menstruation, which we usually call menstruation, occurs especially in some girls around the time of puberty. It is a normal physiological cycle. Of course, it also brings a lot of distress to many women, such as frequent menstrual irregularities. For example, some female friends' menstruation is always irregular, often delayed or advanced, and sometimes comes twice in half a month, which brings great troubles to female friends. What exactly causes two periods in half a month?

Under normal circumstances, menstruation occurs once a month and is very regular. However, many women have irregular menstruation. Some have their periods once every two months, some twice a month, and some twice every half a month. What's the matter with having two periods in half a month?

Why do I have my period twice in half a month?

Menstruation is a normal physiological cycle for female friends. If there is any abnormality, it is very likely that there is a problem somewhere in the body, and it is necessary to find out the cause and treat it in time. Having two periods in half a month is considered irregular menstruation.

Irregular menstruation is a common gynecological disease. It manifests as early or late menstrual cycle or abnormal bleeding volume, or abdominal pain and systemic symptoms before or during menstruation. The cause may be organic disease or functional disorder. Many systemic diseases such as blood diseases (thrombasthenia), hypertension, endocrine disorders, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, hydatidiform mole, hyperprolactinemia, tumors (such as ovarian tumors, uterine fibroids), breast adenosis, tuberculosis (fallopian tube tuberculosis, endometrial tuberculosis), inflammation (chronic endometritis, chronic salpingo-oophoritis), etc. can cause menstrual disorders.

Symptoms of irregular menstruation

1. Early menstruation Early menstruation refers to a shortened menstrual cycle that is shorter than 21 days and occurs for more than two consecutive cycles. It is a biphasic basal body temperature of ovulatory functional uterine bleeding, a short follicular phase of only 7 to 8 days, or a luteal phase of less than 10 days, or a temperature rise of less than 0.5°C.

2. Delayed menstruation: Menstruation is delayed for more than 7 days, or even 40 to 50 days, and occurs for more than two consecutive menstrual cycles. For those who ovulate, the basal body temperature is biphasic, but the follicular phase is long and the high temperature phase is low; for those who do not ovulate, the basal body temperature is monophasic.

3. Prolonged menstrual period: The menstrual cycle is normal, but the menstrual period is prolonged, lasting more than 7 days or even 2 weeks. People with inflammation usually have lower abdominal pain, which worsens during menstruation. They also have a lot of leucorrhea, which is yellow or yellow-white, thick, and has an odor. Those with incomplete corpus luteum atrophy also have heavy menstrual flow; those with prolonged endometrial repair still have a small amount of persistent vaginal bleeding after the normal menstrual period.

4. Menstrual disorders include irregular menstruation, early or delayed menstruation, and a cycle that is shorter than 21 days or longer than 35 days.

5. Changes in complexion
