What causes ovarian cancer?

Nowadays, women are still more likely to suffer from mastitis and cervical cancer, followed by ovarian cancer. The main reasons why women suffer from ovarian cancer are sex chromosome abnormalities, endocrine factors, genetic factors, environmental factors, enzyme deficiency, etc. These factors are direct causes of ovarian cancer.

(1) During the embryonic development period, the lack of gonadotropin causes the acceleration of follicular atresia and the lack of primordial follicles.

(B) Mumps virus infection of the gonads causes ovarian cancer.

(3) Sex chromosome abnormalities.

(iv) Congenital reasons: There are few primordial follicles. By puberty, only a few primordial follicles remain, which are soon consumed.

(V) Autoimmunity, production of anti-ovarian antibodies.

(6) Enzyme deficiency. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the main pathogenesis of hypergonadotropic amenorrhea is the deficiency of true yang in the kidney, insufficient essence and blood, an empty blood sea, and no blood to flow out, resulting in amenorrhea.

(VII) Endocrine factors: What causes ovarian cancer? Ovarian cancer mostly occurs in nulliparous or childbearing women. Pregnancy seems to have an antagonistic effect on ovarian cancer. It is believed that repeated damage to the ovarian epithelium caused by daily ovulation is related to the occurrence of ovarian cancer. In addition, breast cancer and endometrial cancer are often complicated by ovarian cancer, and all three diseases are dependent on this hormone.

(8) Genetic and family factors: About 20-25% of ovarian cancer patients have cancer in their immediate family members. The cause of ovarian cancer is the same as other cancers, and is still unknown. However, according to epidemiological data, ovarian cancer is more common in women with ovarian insufficiency, such as delayed menarche, early menopause, dysmenorrhea, singleness, infertility, frequent artificial abortions and family history.

(IX) Environmental factors: The incidence of ovarian cancer is high in women in industrially developed countries and the upper class, which may be related to high cholesterol in the diet. In addition, ionizing radiation, asbestos and talcum powder can affect oocytes and increase the chance of developing ovarian cancer. Smoking and deficiency of vitamins A, C and E may also be related to the onset of the disease.
