What to eat during breastfeeding

Mothers who are breastfeeding must strengthen their diet, which not only ensures the health of the mother, but also helps to feed the child. They should eat more high-protein foods and foods rich in vitamins and minerals. This will help improve the body's disease resistance and promote milk secretion. For example, you can eat more pig's trotters, more soybeans and papayas, more fish, etc.

Stewed pig's trotters and mushroom soup. Pig's trotters can help produce milk, especially the front trotters, which have a better lactation effect. When buying, ask the salesperson to chop it into pieces, then wash it, add onion, ginger, boiling water, and mushrooms to stew it until it is soft and then you can eat it.

Make crucian carp soup. Crucian carp is rich in high-quality protein and minerals such as calcium and phosphorus. Crucian carp warms the middle and replenishes deficiency, strengthens the spleen and promotes diuresis. Adding green onions when making the soup can help breastfeeding mothers sweat and produce milk, making it a nutritious dish for nursing mothers. Try to eat less fish and mainly drink soup.

Papaya loach soup. This soup is rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, protein and minerals, and has the effects of nourishing the body and promoting lactation.

In addition to the above soups, breastfeeding mothers should ensure 250 ml of milk every day, as well as an appropriate amount of fresh vegetables and fruits. If the nursing mother has a poor appetite and eats little, nutrients containing multiple vitamins and minerals can be appropriately added. During breastfeeding, mothers should avoid eating irritating foods such as peppers, onions, coffee, etc. to prevent intestinal cramps in the baby.

400-500 grams of rice and noodles as staple food; 100 grams of beans and bean products; 100 grams of eggs (2-3); 500-750 grams of vegetables and fruits; 250 grams of milk; 150-200 grams of animal food (meat, poultry, fish, etc.); 50-100 grams of animal offal (per week).
