Can I do fallopian tube hydrotubation during ovulation?

Pregnancy is a major event related to family development. Therefore, many young couples are very cautious from the beginning of pregnancy preparation to childbirth. Especially women in the ovulation period attach great importance to the protection of their reproductive organs. However, many women have constant problems with their reproductive organs. Some women need to have fallopian tube hydrotubation, but they are worried about encountering ovulation problems. So, can fallopian tube hydrotubation be done during the ovulation period?

Indications for fallopian tube hydrotubation:

(1) Various primary or secondary infertility.

(2) After infertility surgery, prevent adhesion formation and measure the effectiveness of surgery.

(3) Clear mild adhesions of the fallopian tubes.

(4) Therapeutic fluid laxative: Start 3 to 7 days after menstruation, 6 times as a course of treatment, one course of treatment per month. The drugs are 400,000 U of penicillin and 0.5~1g of streptomycin (allergy tests are required first). 150U of hyaluronidase was dissolved in 10-20ml of normal saline. Further angiography was performed after 3 courses of treatment to determine the therapeutic effect.

Contraindications of fallopian tube hydrotubation:

(1) Menstrual cycle disorders have not been corrected.

(2) There is a genital tumor in the pelvic cavity.

(3) Inflammation of reproductive organs: acute stage or chronic recurrent stage, which cannot be controlled by drug treatment.

(4) Those who are in poor general condition, have serious lesions of important organs such as the heart, brain, lung, liver, and kidney, or have contraindications to pregnancy.

(5) The male partner is clearly infertile.

Precautions for fallopian tube hydrotubation:

1. Strict disinfection and various preparations must be made before the fallopian tube hydrotubation operation to avoid possible unexpected situations during the operation.

2. If there is gynecological inflammation, such as pelvic inflammatory disease, cervicitis, cervical erosion, vaginitis, etc., you cannot perform hydrotubation surgery. The inflammation must be treated first or the condition must be controlled before surgery.

3. The time for tubal hydrotubation should be within one week after the menstruation is over. If it is too early, the endometrium has not been completely repaired or there is residual menstrual blood, which is easy to inject into the abdominal cavity; if it is too late, such as during the luteal phase hydrotubation, the endometrium is thicker, and if a metal head is used, it is easy to damage the endometrium and bring the endometrium into the abdominal cavity, causing infection.

4. Pay close observation after fallopian tube insufflation, follow up on time, and observe the postoperative recovery.

5. Do not take a bath within two weeks after the fallopian tube hydrotubation operation. You can take a shower, but pay attention to the hygiene of the genitals and keep them clean and dry.

6. Sexual intercourse is prohibited within two weeks after fallopian tube hydrotubation.
