Why do you get uterine cancer? What are the causes?

The incidence of uterine cancer has been increasing in recent years. Environmental and physiological factors account for 50% of the causes of uterine cancer. Such causes can actually be effectively avoided, but people do not pay enough attention to them.

Genetic factors (10%):

There is no doubt that any cancer has a certain degree of heredity, and endometrial cancer is certainly no exception. According to clinical statistics, about 20% of endometrial cancer patients have a family history, and their family history is twice as high as that of cervical cancer.

Pathological factors (20%):

If there is long-term damage, skin breakage, erosion, or inflammation of the cervix, it may turn into early cervical cancer cells. Causes of Uterine Cancer Smoking increases the chance of developing cervical cancer. One reason is that smoking reduces the body's immunity and accelerates the development of cervical cancer cells. Another reason is that smoking itself produces some substances that may cause the development of cervical cancer cells.

Environmental factors (25%):

Studies have found that women who do not have sex usually do not develop cervical cancer, but the earlier they have improper sexual life, the more likely they are to develop cervical cancer in the future. In terms of sexual partners, if a woman has more than two male partners, her chance of developing cervical cancer increases significantly.

Physiological factors (25%):

Endometrial hyperplasia has a certain tendency to become cancerous, so it is classified as a precancerous lesion. Its hyperplasia is divided into simple type, complex type and atypical hyperplasia. About 1% of simple hyperplasia develops into endometrial cancer; about 3% of complex hyperplasia develops into endometrial cancer; and about 30% of atypical hyperplasia develops into endometrial cancer.

Estrogen factors (20%):

Generally speaking, if female friends suffer from uterine-related diseases such as anovulatory functional uterine bleeding, polycystic ovary syndrome, functional ovarian tumors, etc., they have to take estrogen to a greater or lesser extent. Over time, it will naturally stimulate the endometrium and cause pathological changes. Knowing the exact cause of uterine cancer can help you receive better treatment.
