The treatment and examination of ovarian cysts cannot be ignored, because this disease will have a great impact on women. Common examinations include B-ultrasound examinations or tumor marker examinations, which can be used for scientific diagnosis and treatment. 1. B-ultrasound. It plays an irreplaceable and important role in the detection of ovarian tumors, especially vaginal B-ultrasound, which helps to improve the diagnostic positive rate and determine the nature of the tumor. For example, is it cystic or solid, is it unilocular or multilocular, and are there papillae in the cyst? Color Doppler ultrasound can also measure changes in blood flow in tumor tissue. Through the observation and analysis of the above contents, not only can ovarian tumors be discovered, but also the benign or malignant nature of the tumor can be inferred. 2. Tumor marker testing. CA125 is often used to detect epithelial ovarian cancer. More than 80% of patients have CA125 levels higher than normal, and the changes in CA125 levels are consistent with the remission or deterioration of the disease. Therefore, it is often used as one of the observation indicators after treatment of ovarian cancer. AFP (alpha-fetoprotein) has specific value for ovarian endoderm sinus tumor and also has diagnostic significance for immature ovarian teratoma. The role of a single B-ultrasound examination or tumor marker examination in tumor diagnosis is often limited. Therefore, B-ultrasound and tumor marker testing are currently combined to increase the positive rate of detection, which is of certain significance for the early detection of ovarian cancer. 3 Posterior fornix puncture for examination of ascites exfoliated cells It is also a commonly used method in clinical practice. It is a minimally invasive examination method. First, use a vaginal dilator to expand the vagina to expose the posterior vaginal fornix, and use a lumbar puncture needle to pierce the rectouterine pouch of the pelvic cavity through the posterior fornix to extract ascites, and perform a smear of exfoliated cells in the ascites to look for cancer cells. Examination of ascites exfoliated cells can not only confirm the diagnosis by finding cancer cells, but also further determine the clinical stage of the cancer, which is helpful in selecting treatment methods. For those who are still difficult to diagnose with the above methods, laparoscopy can be used. It can not only directly observe the overall condition of the tumor, but also conduct a more comprehensive observation of the entire pelvis and abdominal cavity, including the diaphragm. It can also perform multiple biopsies on suspicious areas and extract ascites for cytological examination. It is an important diagnostic measure for confirming ovarian cancer and conducting clinical staging. |
