Why is the leucorrhea so thick?

Why is the leucorrhea so thick?

The female reproductive organs secrete a lot of endocrine substances, among which the largest secretion is leucorrhea. At the same time, the color, smell, memory and viscosity of leucorrhea all reflect whether the female's lower body is healthy. Abnormal leucorrhea secretion is a condition that many women experience. There are many reasons for thick leucorrhea. Based on the external characteristics of the thick leucorrhea, we can make a simple judgment on it and determine the possible causes of it.

1. Colorless, transparent, sticky leucorrhea: Similar to egg white, or slightly turbid, but except for the increase of leucorrhea, there are rarely other symptoms. This kind of leucorrhea is more common in chronic cervicitis, endocervicitis and after the use of estrogen.

2. Foamy leucorrhea: After taking a bath in a public bath or using a public bath towel or bathtub, grayish white or grayish yellow foamy leucorrhea with a sour odor appears, and you should consider whether you have been infected with Trichomonas vaginitis.

3. Tofu-like leucorrhea: It is unique to candidal vaginitis. The vulva and vaginal walls are often covered with a layer of white film-like substance. After rubbing, the red and swollen mucosal surface is exposed, which is easily infected by fungi and is often accompanied by vulvar itching and burning pain. What is considered abnormal leucorrhea? Especially people with diabetes or pregnant women should think about this, because pregnant women and people with diabetes have poor physical constitution and low immunity, which makes them prone to fungal infections.

4. Yellow (amine) leucorrhea: mostly caused by bacterial infection. Gonorrhea, tuberculosis bacteria, etc. may be the cause of the disease, and Treponema pallidum can also cause purulent infection of the vagina. What is considered abnormal leucorrhea? When a patient discharges a large amount of leucorrhea with a special odor from the vagina, it should be suspected whether there is a foreign body in the vagina, which causes an increase in leucorrhea and a serious infection.

5. Watery leucorrhea: In the early stages of malignant tumors, uterine cancer, fallopian tube cancer, etc., there will be an increase in leucorrhea.

6. Bloody leucorrhea: leucorrhea mixed with blood. The appearance of this type of leucorrhea should alert you to the possibility of malignant tumors, such as cervical cancer, uterine cancer, vaginal tumors, etc. This leucorrhea may also occur in some benign lesions, such as senile vaginitis, cervical erosion, etc.

7. Yellow mucous leucorrhea: seen in cervical erosion, chronic cervicitis, etc. It is caused by mild infection.

8. White mucous leucorrhea: The properties are the same as normal, but the amount increases. What is considered abnormal leucorrhea? This type of leucorrhea is seen after the use of estrogen or when the pelvic cavity is congested. It is caused by increased secretion of cervical glands and vaginal mucosa.
